Germa Iodine Tincture Decolorized Colorless White Clear Iodo YODO Blanco Liquid

Mom used iodine on us all through our youth. I use it now, until it is gone, instead of cream disinfectants. I bought it for toenail fungus because other people report it worked well for them. It did not work for me in that application .

It's great!! I never knew until Amazon that this was also made in colorless. It has a strong smell, however, it's very effective. Therefore, a little goes a long way.

I bought this to help restore my damaged nails. I had used nail polish continuously for a month and the results were just awful. My once very nice nails were thin and splitting so badly I had to keep them sawed off to nothing. I researched remedies and came across using white iodine. I mixed it with castor oil 1:3. I put it in an old dropper bottle and labeled it. I applied it daily for weeks. I noticed a small but welcome improvement within 4 days. I continued at least every other day for many weeks. It really stinks! I applied it right before I left for work then febreezed the room! It has taken 4 months for my nails to look decent again. I use gloves when doing chores, especially the dishes. I dont file the sides of the nail anymore. I clean out under the nails religiously. I have quality nail polishes waiting for me to use soon that aren't toxic. The iodine was a simple, inexpensive solution. Thank goodness.
