Neoprene Scope Cover

Like a lot of folks, I would put some money into a nice scope and then drop a couple of flip-up scope caps on it. The caps didn't really offer much protection and they eventually fail. Either they just break or they start popping open on their own. I purchased 2 of these, an SS14 and an SS15 back in mid-2017 and they are still going strong. I will probably get a few more as my remaining scope caps break. For the same price as two of those (Vortex caps are more expensive but just as cheap) you can buy this and it actually lasts and offers more protection for your nice scope. These fit both of my scopes nice and snug, but not too tight and come off easily. Measure carefully so that you order the right size.Pros:- Quality construction and made right here in the USA.- Much more durable than the flimsy pop up covers that everyone sells. These actually hold up to real field conditions.- Offers more protection since it covers most of the scope.- If you order the right size it will seal around both lenses snugly and help keep them clean/clear and still be easy to remove.- The barrel strap is handy and keeps the cover attached to the rifle barrel when you remove it from the scope. You don't have to worry about it falling on the ground or getting lost.- Made from Neoprene so it's not affected by water, snow, etc.Cons:- Add a piece of hook and loop fastener to the barrel strap so that the cover can be removed without having to take your sling off or slip it over the muzzle of the barrel.- Offer a model with thicker Neoprene just to provide some additional bump protection for the scope.I am very happy with my purchases and will buy more.

Use it for my Leupold 20 spotting scope which they don’t make anymore (they should). Fits perfect, easy to use, the neoprene provides cushion. Glad I bought it. Make sure you measure your scope and get the right size....but it does stretch.

I purchased the SS6 size for my Sig Sauer Romeo 7 Red Dot. It fit a little snug but it works easy enough. As many have stated they run small so best to get the next size up if you are worried about it. I purchased the 3mm model and the material is very thick. More than enough protection. Good product.

This worked perfectly and is easier to handle that some scope covers with rubber. When it is cold outside and your hiking through some snow and brush this works great to protect the scope. It is also very easy to get off and not lose it when you need to use your gun in a hurry.

Excellent stretch fit. Keeper loop is great and gets cover out of the way quickly while not losing it in the brush. Good quality construction. Neoprene is plenty thick enough to protect the scope. Buy one and see.

I loved the design and quality of this product. I had to return it simply because I was sent one that was 2 sizes bigger than I ordered. After I received it I realized that I can not only use it on my 20 gauge scope but also on my crossbow scope which I didn't think of when ordering it; bonus!The only improvement would be if the company got the rights to use Real Tree camo.

This thigns is one of my favourite purchases. Much better than my hard covers that came with my Elite 6500 6x24. Its really nice to have something that will keep dust/debris off my lenses but also protect my scope while putting in+out of my safe repeatedly. Anyone who owes fireamrs with optics knows they bump into things here and there, and nothing is more annoying than having a scratch show up on your flawless black optic because you brushed the bolt handle of another rifle in your safe. This protects against that, and is a breeze to take off and on at the range.No more fiddling with elastic strings on the standard caps, or flip up sights that could break.Even if used for hunting, you can quickly and easily remove this faster than trying to flip up front and rear flipup covers. You just stretch it back so it clears the rear of your optic and let it go and it will sling forward with just enough momentum to clear the front lens and either fall off (if you dont sling it around the barrel), or hang off your barrel 100% out of the way.Great buy, super happy and will have these for my other optics when they arrive.

These covers are well made and are every bit as good as more expensive scope coats. They are stiched well and have handy loops at the ends to assist installing and removing the covers. The neoprene is just as thick as a scope coat.One thing though, and as many have mentioned, they are on the small end of the size spectrum. I purchased two of these. The SS-5 fit my 5" long Aimpoint PRO perfectly. It doesn't appear to be large enough to fit an optic much bigger than 5 inches in length, even though it is advertised as fitting scopes 5.5 to 7 inches in length.The SS-7 fit my 6.5 inch long Primary Arms 5x prism scope perfectly. Once again, I would not try to stretch this cover much over 6.5 inches, even though the manufacturer lists it as fitting 7.5-9 inch scopes.Based on my experience, determine your scope length and order the cover that shows a minimum size that is 1 inch larger than your scope's length.
