Great walking cane.
Nice having more support on base of cane. More confidence on uneven or snowy surfaces. Cushioned handle is comfortable for longer walks. Easy to adjust height. Highly recommend.

Great product
What a fine product. Used a cane after my first back operation and it was not the good stabilizing element that I thought a cane would be. After my second back operation the occupational therapist insisted I get a HurryCane; it was a night and day experience, this cane gave me the stability I needed to confidently do the necessary walking for recovery. Since then I stop people I see with traditional canes and suggest the HurryCane; I have run into a couple who took the advice and they just keep saying thank you thank you thank you. I say thank you HurryCane.

Great cane. Gives you more surface area in contact with ground at all times.
I thought the cane would help with the instability that I felt with my regular cane. The cane pivots on the tripod feet which makes it feel like a single for cane as far as stability. Maybe slightly better because of the friction in the joint. The advantage, though is that you constantly have a large surface area constantly in touch with the ground which gives you more traction. A regular cane usually has a fraction of an inch in touch with the ground. I nearly slipped when my cane hit water on my linoleum. The other feet caught and I didn't fall. Overall I like the pivot feature and it makes me feel more secure. The foam handle lets me get a good grip as it is larger than the freedom edition. It's also a cushioned foam and easy on the hands. The fact that this is an offset cane means I get a solid grip on the handle with my whole hand. Addressing the comments about it not standing any longer : the rubber in the joint seems to have a "memory". If you use the cane and the feet fall at a consistent angle then it eventually stays that way. I work around this by pushing down while the feet are flat on the floor and twisting the cane to turn the feet. It immediately resets and you can stand it up. This version does not fold but can collapse to a relatively short length. It is very lightweight. I would give it five stars of it wouldn't develop the memory and would stand every time. Easy work around, though. Forgot to mention: when you adjust it, bring the knurled nut up and tighten it. The cane will be more secure and silent. Mine had fallen down and looked like part of the pivot.

Better than the cane she had. My mother-in-law loves it!
I bought the HurryCane GO for my 87-year-old mother-in-law. She broke her hip in January, and also suffers from vertigo, so she sometimes needs some extra stability when she's out on her walks. She lives on a tight budget and didn't want to purchase it for herself. So, I bought it for her. She was impressed with how light the cane is and the fact that it stands alone is a plus. The ergonomic, off-set handle fits nicely in her hands and she said she feels more secure using this cane than the cheaper one she bought after her hip had healed. Some of the other reviews stated that the ball joint needs to be "reset" in order for the cane to stand by itself, and we did find that to be an issue. Having read the other reviews, I instructed her on how to rotate the foot around until it went back to its normal resting position. She did that a few times and quickly became a pro at getting the cane to stand by itself. I give it a five-star rating because it made my mother-in-law happy and she says it is much better than the cane she had been using. The cane came in a long box that was easy to open. No instructions were included, but it's pretty self-explanatory.

Danger of falling
I was not going to write a review but decided I need to alert others to a possible danger. I have ordered this cane twice. The first one was starting to wear on the foam handle, so I ordered a second one. The new one was slightly different, seemed to be improved. But I noticed right away that the twist stop on the shaft would not stay tightened. I really liked this cane otherwise. I tightened it daily to make sure it was secure. Until one day it wasnโt. The shaft of the cane collapsed on me, I fell onto my knees. It took me about 20 minutes to get up. It was a scary and painful experience. I will not buy another cane of this brand.
