I have used this system before but in a gallery setting so I was keen to have it at home. It's great but my one issue is that, maybe because the cord is right up against the wall, light pictures don't hang flush with the wall and move as if "in a breeze" - even when at the top of group. So I've had to use a commando strip on the bottom edge of those pieces to keep them still and flat against the wall, hence the missing two stars as the point of the exercise was to not have the pictures attached to the wall for easy changing. Also the installation of the system was not a walk in the park. (I installed two, in fact, and the second one was easier for some reason. But once it's up, it's up.)Maybe the steel cable (which I think is what the gallery had) being heavier itself would prevent this. Of course the nice thing about the perlon cord is that it is almost invisible. I am going to order one metal cord and see how that goes and, if it's better, I'll come back to this review and tell you.

Perfectly useable for what I brought them for, comparable with the rail I brought. Very easy to use and install.Only slight criticism is the way they are stored and shipped means the cables are twisted which needed me to soak the cable (not the metal connector) in hot water to straighten them out. I didn't drop stars for this.

I purchased a system from STAS. This is used to hang an art exhibit in a church. Never a need for holes in the walls and we change out art work every 3 months.

this is a great system for hanging art. It worked perfectly. They even sent me replacement screws at no cost when I told them we are hanging on concrete. Would recommend to any who need this type of product.

I love the STAS picture hanging system. It allows me to place and rearrange items on my office wall (which is located in a historic building) without causing any damage to the wall.
