Black Pepper Mill Grinder - Adjustable Manual Ceramic, Easy Crank Handle

After decades of messing around with store-bought coarse ground pepper, then "pretty" mill sets that looked good but turned grinding pepper into an aerobic exercise... I finally Googled "quality high volume pepper mill" & this little jewel showed up at a very reasonable price. The reviews were GREAT... and rightfully so. You are able to easily adjust the grind to just the coarseness you want, it only takes a few twists to give you a generous amount, it holds a boatload of peppercorns, is easy to fill, and - while not exactly an exquisite work of art - looks pretty darn good on the table next to the OXO salt mill (also a winner, btw). Ceramic grind mechanism, lifetime warranty. Highly recommended.

Excellent grinder, easy to use, grinds well. You can grind right over food, or into the little cup to measure more accurately.

I have bought several pepper grinders that just didn’t work. I saw really good reviews on this and decided to try it. I am a fan of Ina Garten and I saw it on her shows many times. It works!!! Yeah and it looks great. Very easy to fill and I love the cup on the bottom for when you need a larger amount of pepper.

Easy to load, easy to adjust grind size, easy to produce small or large amounts of ground pepper, this mill is my third from this manufacturer, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

It's really easy to churn out a lot of pepper with this, and it adjusts from pretty fine powder to convincing coarse. It won't give you cracked pepper but that's ok, a couple of whacks in a mortar and pestle will do that. My only gripe is that the coarseness control is hidden with no meter marks, a situation exacerbated by the unmarked knob only stopping at the coarse end but not at the fine end (just continues to turn, which is expected behavior according to the seller answering my question on this site). But I'm enjoying using it and really like the optional cup on the bottom; no more grinding onto a folder paper towel. [Added Aug 12: the coarseness knob stopped working after just a few days of using the grinder; I'm expecting a replacement from Amazon tomorrow and will update this a few days later]

Easy to grind ... I only use it for peppercorns. Just remember to open the clear-end instead of the black-top-end when measuring out pepper for a recipe. I accidently opened the black-top & dumped a whole container of peppercorns into my meatloaf!! Needless to say, I won't do that again! I actually love this grinder & use it often.

I have been wanting this for quite a while. I had gone through the brass ones, looked great but a pain to clean and they left grinds. Jaques Pepin uses this one (a plastic one? yup) and I saw it was around $40... and I'd spent so much on various grinders over the years that it was a whim not a need. And then on Prime Days.... omg under $20. Jumped on it. It's been in my kitchen and is filled and works like a dream. No risk or worry about rust etc because it's ceramic. Yes Yes Yes

Like many others, I saw this item being used by Jacques Pepin in his FB videos. It doesn't disappoint! You set the adjustment rod for the grind and it's always consistent. Even pricy pepper mills vary when you twist the grinder and the top screw loosens, changing what you have chosen. Simple to use... looks well built and reliable. I'll leave it at that as there are so many other similar reviews here. Definitely recommended.
