Expensive, but well constructed, has a slick coating on the inside, nice fit, and comes with everything you need for installation. The clamps are perfect size and the rubber boots fit well. The air filter element was a little warped around it's perimeter. My only complaint was the box it came in was in poor condition and looked like it was opened and re- closed a few times, probably while going through customs during shipping.

Love the sound it gives the burban and can definitely say it feels quicker because of the extra power and the added throttle response. BTW this intake setup has been proven to be more efficient than the traditional metal tube and heat shielded cone filter as the stock air box is said to be a "cold air box".

Works but did not change performance or gas mileage

Came with everything as advertised. But the cleanup work on the plastic was detrimental. To the point to where there’s a tiny pinhole on the intake tube that goes all the way through along with cuts in the plastic where I can assume has made it thin. Quality control would’ve easily spotted this. Don’t wanna go through the process of returning it and not sure the quality of another one’s gonna be any better. Will probably end up just doing a layer of fiberglass/resin and fabricating it to my standards

Previous owner of my truck swapped the oem air box for the auto one special spectra premium cold air intake and it was absolute junk. Went and grabbed a factory box for 10$ at pick-n-pull and purchased this kit and was able to clean up the engine bay along with my e fan conversion. Highly recommend this kit for clean and actual “cold” air intake as it uses the factory box that sucks in air from outside the engine bay.

I purchased for my 2004 Yukon 5.3 liter. It does the job and increases HP. Fuel efficiency unnaffected so far. Waiting on Header installation.

If you’re going to go with a new intake, go Airaid; it’s an obvious choice. That said, the difference this kit makes on a GMT 800 (5.3L LM7 in my case) isn’t huge. It definitely deepens the sound a little and increases the throttle response just a little but the difference really isn’t worth the price. I think I’d recommend the filter alone as a nice upgrade but this kit with the intake tube is just too expensive for what it does.

Fit my 2003 Chevy suburban Z-71, didn’t see any major noticeable power improvement.
