Every single one mentioned this product, so I decided to give it a try. I eat popcorn 3-5 times a week. It is a my snack of choice (obviously). It has literally been the best popcorn I have ever made. You just got to remember that you need far less than you do with regular salt or even the other popcorn salts you can get at the store. The container is decent sized and will last me (with my popcorn eating habit) a few months. It is very much worth it's price.

If you use a whirlypop type pan this flavoring works really well. You add it right to the oil in the pan so it distributes the salt quite well. Don’t go by the measurements on the box though. I initially did 8oz of kernels which called for a tablespoon of powder. The entire batch was inedible salty and I love salt. Switched to about 3/4 of a teaspoon instead and it was great.

Flavacol is just the seasoning i needed for home made popcorn. It might take a little experimenting to get the right amount to add. my experiments led me to determine that 1/2 teaspoon is enough for 3 tablespoons (40 grams) of popcorn which would be about the same as a typical bag of microwave popcorn. If you use much more than that, the flavor will be overbearingly strong. I've read that Flavacol is what many movie theatres use, but I have not been able to confirm that. I cant say that it tastes exactly like that, but that might be a psychological thing. It still tastes pretty dang good and saves money over the microwave bags and provide many opportunities for customizing.

So glad I purchased this item! Makes the popcorn experience so much better and taste like movie theater popcorn! The box itself is a decent size will most likely last for awhile. Definitely worth your money if you’re trying to get the movie theater popcorn taste!

Add some butter flavored coconut oil and this Flavacol seasoning and you are as close to the taste of a movie theater as possible. Good size will last you a long time. Smells and tastes like the movie theater. Good value for the money.
