This has been our favorite leash purchase for our miniature Dachshund! We have an 11.5lb Doxie and this leash is the perfect size! I also really like the pretty blue color. It’s nice to not have a basic or standard black typical leash. It’s very durable and doesn’t twist up. There’s a locking feature that’s very easy to use and the length of the actually leash is great. Not too long, and not too short. Our Doxie is able to explore well on the leash! The retractability of the leash is fast and doesn’t get knotted up. I would definitely recommend this leash!

Love this brand. The leash retracts easily and is super strong for my 15 lb Bichon who loves to constantly pull. The leash does not stretch and is easy to hold thanks to the well designed hand grip. I also love that the leash is now the color vs regular black. I have one in blue and one in pink and was pleasantly surprised that the cord is blue and pink!

Fully satisfied, works as promised and user (human) friendly as well. Room for improvement - sometimes the retractable cord gets stuck when extended but this can easily be resolved. Anyway all great, we bought two.

I bought the small rather than the XS because the hand opening on every brand is too small for my average size hand. Since my little Papillon is only 5 pounds, the XS would have been better as the Small's ribbon is too strong for him to be able to pull himself further, so I let out the amount of ribbon that will give him more freedom & hold the ribbon to rewind or it would hurt him. I still find this leash to be the best made, even though I must adjust how it's used.

Super impressed, I see why this has such high ratings. The action is smooth as it extends, and doesn’t pull too much on my small dog’s collar. Lock mechanism works beautifully, and is easy and uncomplicated to operate (a big plus when I’m walking both my dogs. Doesn’t seem to jam at all the way other leashes do. This just arrived today and I’m about to buy another one for my other pup. 10/10.

My puppy loves to chew his old leash (I got a cheap regular non-retracting one to train him with). Ever since I got this, he bites it but eventually gets distracted by the freedom this leash allows him to have. It takes a few minutes getting used to using this. Wished it had some sort of carabiner to attach to your belt or something to hold it while you bend down because you kind of have to juggle it around while you grab a poopie bag and try to pick up stuff off the ground. Great leash overall, just wish the tape was a little thicker because it feels kind of cheap. Hopefully it will withstand all the wear and tear during the next several years at least.

Very comfortable handle. Still have 2 older Flexi leashes with string line from 10-15 years ago. This handle has more comfortable material to hold for longer period of time which is what I wanted. this one was pretty and I liked the tape instead of string after using a friend’s leash. I wanted only 16’ because my chihuahua likes to run, but it would not be safe for her to be 26’ away from me. Very happy.

Tried several others but the stop/start mechanism is the best on this one. No multiple buttons to get confused when you have to stop in a hurry and reliable. I tried several others, but none are this convenient. Cheaper ones break easily or too hard to stop when you really need to. The price is high, but to me it is worth it. The only negative I see is the noise the leash makes when pulled out or retracted. But I am getting used to it. Used to bother me more.

I bought the smallest size for my dog and the leash when extended is a good length for exploring without allowing the dog to wander too far. The leash seems durable and I like the colour. My only issue is the hole to place your fingers in to grip is very small. I am a small woman with relatively small hands and I can;t fit all my fingers in only two maybe three which is not as comfortable as I would have liked. Other than that it's a great leash.

Nice leash for our small doxies, but the handle is so small my husband cant get all his fingers through the hole, and e an my smaller hand isn't really comfortable. This would be a great product for a child to walk their small dog

This appears to be a well built leash with a very smooth release of the leash and locking action. Unfortunately, I purchased a small size thinking it would be perfect for a 20 lb dog and when I received it quickly determined the handle opening size was too small for my hand (6' male) to fit. I immediately returned the item and have purchased the same leash but in a medium size. Hoping handle opening will be larger size. The web site should state that the handle size varies with the model selected to prevent this hassle in the future. Suspect has happened many time before me.

Have used this brand before, brilliant lead, well made, lasts for ages

This works well for my frenchie I got a small. I’ve actually had one of these in the giant for my bigger dogs that has lasted 30 years so they’re very durable
