Sleep Saver
Worth every penny! I love this pillow! No more backaches, waking up on my side, or tossing and turning in an attempt to get comfortable. I purchased this pillow towards the end of my second trimester of pregnancy, but wish I had made the investment earlier. Pre-pregnancy I was mainly a stomach sleeper, so I struggled to get comfortable as my belly grew and that was no longer an option. I was using 5 different pillows, including a regular body pillow, in an attempt to get comfortable, but would still struggle to fall asleep, wake up often during the night, and get up with an achy back. I also frequently woke up on my back which is not a recommended position during the second half of pregnancy. The Leachco pillow has replaced all my other pillows. I use it with the open part at my legs, so I don't even need a separate pillow for my head, and I can switch from side to side without rearranging any pillows at night. This pillow supports my back and belly perfectly (I am 5'1"), as well as keeps my hips in a comfortable position (I swing one leg over the long part). I highly recommend it to stomach sleepers, as you can use it to get in a leaning forward side position (sort of half way between on your stomach and on your side) with your belly comfortably cushioned by the long part of the pillow (this is as close to on my stomach as I think I am going to get until after baby). I can't say the cover is made of the nicest fabric, but it doesn't seem to bother my sensitive skin and is removable, so it is easily washed. For extra softness, and so I don't have to wash it as often, I simply lay a regular a pillow case over the top portion where my head rests. If you think this pillow might help you sleep better, but aren't sure if you want to make the investment, I encourage you to go for it and not wait any longer. If you are nervous about the size, I have a queen bed and the pillow, my husband, and I, all fit just fine. Maybe it isn't right for everyone, but it has given me back many hours of sleep and took away many aches and pains, so it is very worth it to me.

Best pillow!
Going to start off with the cons: * The curve where your neck/shoulder goes, is a little annoying! It digs into you. I just put my regular pillow over it and its fine now! * The fabric of the cover, to me, is a bit scratchy! I have not tried washing it yet, though. * It is still a bit big! (Space wise) We have a queen size bed and it's just fine with my husband and me, but when our 2 yr old decides to come into our bed, usually the pillow has to go! * Not a biggie for me, but the shorter side is really thick! I like the longer side anyways ! Pros: * When you get to the stage in pregnancy where you can't sleep, this pillow truly helps!! I can sleep at least 50% better than I can without it! * I love that it "contours" to my body but not too much! I still have space to where I don't feel tight! * It really helps with relieving hip pain! Not 100% but some! * It fits all sizes! I am 5'1 and 119 lbs, my husband is 5'10 and 200 lb husband, and even my 2 yr old son can all fit in the pillow (not at once ;)). * The main reason why I got this pillow was because I woke up on my stomach one morning! Being 29 weeks pregnant, it freaks you out! This pillow completely prevents me from getting on my stomach! The most I can do is sleep in my back & the pillow is still comfortable! I would have given it 5 stars but the fabric and neck/shoulder area really stop me from doing so! I think for paying $60 (+), they could choose a more comforting fabric and figure out how to make the neck/shoulder area less annoying! Other wise great pillow!!

Improved sleep and comfort for this pregnant gal
I was a little hesitant about purchasing this product regarding a few of the issues some reviews mentioned (price, quality, seam, size), but now that I have used it I am incredibly glad I bought it. I am 6 months pregnant, 5'7'' and have a fairly slender build and sleep on a queen size bed with my husband. Here are the things I love about this pillow: 1. My overall sleep time has increased and deep sleep has improved. I think this is because the pillow hugs all around my body and I can roll over without adjusting 4 pillows. Now I don't even have to move the pillow, it is already where it needs to be. 2. Before pregnancy I always slept on my back and the switch to side sleeping has been incredibly difficult. This pillow has helped me feel comfortable on my side as well as offer kind of an in-between back and side position. Also, it has kept me from rolling on my back naturally while I sleep, which has been most helpful. 3. There are many positions to use this pillow as well as many positions you can assume with each pillow position. It also supports a growing belly very nicely. 4. I personally find the pillow stuffing to be pleasantly soft yet supportive at the same time. 5. This pillow is great for mid afternoon rests and short breaks. 6. Though it is a bit bulky it takes up only my half of the bed (queensize). My husband has not been annoyed or cramped because of it. In fact he often snuggles up against it in the night. Cons: (minor ones at that) 1. A little pricey. But what price would you pay for a better, less miserable night of sleep. 2. Slightly rough pillowcase. 3. Less snuggle time through the night with hubby, but we can still be pretty close. This pillow has fit my needs very well and has been worth the money. **As an update. June 2008. This pillow has really helped me post partum. Nursing has been easier, it is very comforting to snuggle in when I'm feeling a little blue, and my body aches have been reduced thanks to it's many support positions. I personally feel that I would not have been very comfortable without this pillow especially the last 2 months of pregnancy. I have one additional complaint about it. the pillow case became quite nubby and even more rough in some spots (mostly the area that my feet and legs occupied).

MAJOR design flaw in the pillowcase
First pillow I got was OK but as I feared from reading other reviews the crook of the pillow was a bit too tightly stitched and dug somewhat into my neck all night. My hopes were high that an exchange might fix the issue since not all reviewers had this problem. WRONG! The second pillow was even tighter and the discomfort was much much worse. Now this is the major con of this pillow, the other being that the pillow case is cheap polyester and it's already starting to pill pretty bad (3 weeks old). I've tried sleeping on it with the crook between my legs with the long end wrapped around my back and then under my head. It's cozy enough that way but the stuffing is all wrong for this positioning and it does not lend quite the support I need in the right places. Were it not for the tightly stitched crook this would be THE perfect pillow. The all around support is fantastic, the stuffing is just enough in all the right places to align my back/hips and I slept fairly comfortable with my first pillow (sorry I returned it). Now I am returning this one for a refund and have purchased a snoogle at the store. I went in and took each one out of the package and got the one with the loosest stitching so I'll see if tonight I get better sleep. I also looked at the boppy body pillow at the store also and that has SO little stuffing I can't imagine it would support anyone.

Great Pregnancy Pillow!
This pillow is fantastic. I am so glad I bought it. I first wanted it to help me sleep on my side, since usually I am a back sleeper. It does help with that, but even more so, it is so comfortable! I sleep so well. During my first trimester when I was without this pillow, I did not sleep nearly as well. It hugs your body and offers so much support. I read some reviews that the pillow case was scratchy, but I have no problem with it (and I have sensitive skin). I did take an old, regular pillow case and cut the end off. I put this over the body pillow where my head is, so that I just have to wash that, not the whole giant pillow case. And yes, the pillow is big. We have a queen size bed and it takes up a little more than half the bed, but my husband still has room to sleep and hasn't complained. I plan on using this pillow long after the baby is born as well!

Terrible, awful, horrible!!
I bought this pillow after reading all the positive reviews here. I saw the few negative reviews, but decided to disregard them. Big mistake! This product is completely awful. I am 6.5 months pregnant and was having a lot of trouble sleeping. I was using three pillows and trying to steal my husband's, too. The three pillows weren't bad, they helped, but every time I rolled over I had to readjust all of them. I thought this body pillow would help that, and I wouldn't wake up so much when I had to turn over. It didn't work. Here's why: 1 - The fabric covering this pillow is just vile. It's a sort of sticky-feeling polyester that doesn't breathe at all and feels horrible against my skin. I just couldn't stand it. I tried wrapping the pillow up in a sheet to get it away from me, but that didn't help because there were so many other issues with it. 2 - It's sewn into a very tight U-shape - there is little flexibility. It was too close to the sides of my body (I am not a large person), and there was no way to push it away. That also made it too hot. I tried putting the pillow in every position possible, and I did read the instructions, but nothing helped. It just wasn't comfortable. 3 - It made my shoulders hurt. When you are on your side, there is nowhere for your bottom arm to go but under the pillow. But the pillow is heavy, and your head is also on the pillow, so that arm gets crushed and my shoulder ended up hurting within just a minute or two. I tried flipping the thing around so my head wasn't on it, I tried adding other pillows, I tried everything. Still uncomfortable. I tried this pillow for three nights, and no matter what I did, it only made me more frustrated and uncomfortable. I ended up kicking it out of the bed every time and have now gone back to my three pillows. I really wish I had just bought a regular body pillow for $15.00. I wasted my money on this stupid thing. Maybe the people who like this pillow are not picky sleepers. I have always had difficulty sleeping and get uncomfortable easily. Also, I sleep on a relatively firm mattress. Maybe this is the reason this pillow didn't work for me. I think if you are picky about comfort or generally don't sleep that well, this is not the pillow for you.

Highly recommend-- first good night's sleep in forever!
I'm 5'9" and 5 months pregnant and have been suffering with pelvic girdle and sciatic pain throughout this pregnancy, which means that I haven't had a good night's sleep in LONG time. This pillow has alleviated that entirely. General things in response to other commments: 1. I found the cover to be very comfortable, not harsh or scratchy at all. 2. It is not overstuffed or understuffed-- it has a nice amount of give (my head rests nicely) but is very flexible and can easily adjust to several different positions-- the stuffing does not get in the way but provides very real, stable support. 3. Like I said, I'm 5'9", and I am overweight (200) on top of that, and I fit just fine with this pillow. Again, it's super flexible so I could see it easily accommodating a larger OR smaller person. 4. this pillow is light-- light enough that over or under body parts don't feel squished-- I had no problems sleeping with my arms over or under the pillows. 5. I am traditionally a back sleeper, and this pillow is GREAT for helping you sleep "just a little" to the side, supporting back as needed. 6. I am also a mover-- and this pillow specifically comes with a set of illustrated uses, a couple that are very easy to toss and turn with (you aren't fighting with the pillow to move.) 7. Yes, it's kinda large, but not so much that your sig can't stay in bed with you. My hubby and I share a queen bed and he has a lot of space to move with this pillow-- even with our dog on the bed. I would think that one could use this and still share a bed even on a full size bed with little problems. This has literally been the best purchase I have made thus far for my pregnancy. Since getting this pillow, I sleep through the night and wake up in less pain-- no limping due to pelvic or sciatic pain at all. Totally, completely worth it.

Great pillow!
I bought this pillow around 19 weeks right before I was supposed to stop sleeping on my back. I had been using a body pillow and another pillow behind my back. This worked so much better! It keeps me on my side and I am comfortable. The only reason I am not giving this pillow 5 stars is because the material of the pillow case is a little rough if you are used to sleeping on soft sheets and is a pain to take off of the pillow. Still, a great buy, considering I am usually a stomach sleeper. Oh, and it works fine in a queen bed. I bought this instead of some of the others because I thought they might be too big for a queen. Edit: I am now 37 weeks pregnant and am still loving the pillow. It is the only way I can sleep. I sleep horrible away from it. Honestly, with the exception of bathroom breaks, I sleep pretty darn good considering I am 8 months pregnant. The biggest flaw continues to be the cover...I would suggest buying a second cover right up front.

Worth the purchase
I recently had shoulder surgery and was required to sleep in a recliner for several weeks. I was looking for solutions to be able to sleep in bed. I looked at other body pillows or pillows recommended for pregnant women. This pillow has allowed me to be able to sleep in bed. Very happy. In addition, my partner will be able to use it when he has hip replacement surgery within the next year. This was another reason I chose this pillow. Iโm 5โ3 and he is 6โ3, so the extra long length will support his recovery as well. I recommend this pillow. Iโd read complaints/ concerns about pillow stuffing for some pillows; however, this one is great, no complaints.

Well made. Good for people with back problems. Bad news for spouse/bed partner.
Good pillow, thick. Wife loved it, but I definitely lost out on bed real estate for several months. It is now packed away with delivery of our little one, and my wife seems to have gained confidence at making sure I get only 1/3 of the bed without the help of this pillow. Cover is a pain to put back on, but this is intrinsic to the shape of the pillow. Well sewn.
