Got use out of it, but not at all what I hoped for; definitely not worth the price
I bought this on the recommendation of my massage therapist; I am not nor was not pregnant, but I'm an overweight side sleeper with lower back issues due to past injuries (I got hit by a car), and was looking for something to assist me ergonomically so that I would be able to sleep in a back-healthy position. By the positive reviews here and her suggestion, I really thought this was going to solve my sleep issues and it has done only a little to help -- I've gotten more out of two ordinary long body pillows I bought for $10 each at Target. One major problem, and reason why I rate the item so low (and would be tempted to go lower), is that it is made of extremely cheap and entirely synthetic material that wears out quickly. The material also does not breathe and can get very hot very quickly (I can't imagine the pregnant woman it was designed for being very comfortable with it given some expecting women get hot easily). The pillow case *is* uncomfortable and scratchy; the first thing I did after trying it out was removing it and throwing it away, and I instead wrapped some 100% cotton sheets around it. It also flattens extremely quickly--the foam padding is not resilient at all, meaning it quickly loses its ability to support the areas of your body that need it most. And it is now even starting to break apart and tear in places (primarily for when I use it, where I rest my head or where I wrap it around my body when sitting up). I have owned the pillow for about 9 months -- interestingly enough, the length of a pregnancy, meaning if you DID buy it for support while pregnant, it would grow increasingly useless as your pregnancy progressed, and lose most of its value by the end. Now, obviously since I wore it out, I did use it, so it gets some props. I found it particularly useful for sleeping or napping on the couch (something I do sometimes because my A/C unit's in my living room), more because its shape and size helps fill in what makes sleeping on a couch usually uncomfortable. It is good for wrapping around yourself--as long as you don't mind getting hot--to sit up and get some good support while reading in bed or whatever. I use part of it sometimes to prop up my head/upper body (I have acid reflux, and propping up partly upright can help with that), but more because it's a convenient soft pillow that I happen to own, not because the design of this particular pillow is useful for it.What I don't get much out of it is actually helping me sleep on my side. Based on the (obscure and poorly explained) diagrams it provides, you have to really curl yourself up around it to get your knees and ankles supported, in a way that ultimately created more stress on my back than less. I also could not figure out how or where to put the arm/shoulder the side I was sleeping on that I was not putting too much pressure on it (I woke up several times with my hand or arm asleep because of this). It contains absolutely zero written instructions, just a few diagrams which only show one angle and leaves it otherwise to you to figure out how to make it work for you. Leachco's Website is useless in providing any further assistance. Now, I accept maybe the pillow wasn't right for my body type or needs or shape or something. But unfortunately, since it's a product I've only been able to find online, I had no way of knowing that till I bought it and tested it--and once you sleep with it, it can't really be returned. There's not much here or at Leachco's Website to help figure out what might have worked better if anything (notwithstanding the awful quality of the material it's made of). While the pillow does have some good qualities, it is largely a cheaply made and frustratingly designed pillow. Whatever benefits it does have, I found it was not absolutely, positively not worth the $58 I paid for it--again I got more out of a couple $10 body pillows I bought later. If I'd paid the full $75 MSRP for it I'd be all the more ticked off. If I buy a pillow valued at $75, it better be designed to last well more than a single year, and be made of high quality materials with a cotton pillowcase. As it is wearing out quickly, I doubt I will be able to use it much longer, and I will definitely not replace it with another LeachCo product. It is obviously they do not price their merchandise to reflect the quality of their products, but to rather to gouge pregnant or injured individuals desperate to get a good night's sleep. In my opinion, based on my personal experience, you're much better off finding much cheaper alternatives. Now of course, for those this pillow somehow worked for them, I'm glad they had a good experience, but I am extremely disappointed that mine was nowhere near the same.

Sleep Saver
Worth every penny! I love this pillow! No more backaches, waking up on my side, or tossing and turning in an attempt to get comfortable.I purchased this pillow towards the end of my second trimester of pregnancy, but wish I had made the investment earlier. Pre-pregnancy I was mainly a stomach sleeper, so I struggled to get comfortable as my belly grew and that was no longer an option. I was using 5 different pillows, including a regular body pillow, in an attempt to get comfortable, but would still struggle to fall asleep, wake up often during the night, and get up with an achy back. I also frequently woke up on my back which is not a recommended position during the second half of pregnancy. The Leachco pillow has replaced all my other pillows. I use it with the open part at my legs, so I don't even need a separate pillow for my head, and I can switch from side to side without rearranging any pillows at night. This pillow supports my back and belly perfectly (I am 5'1"), as well as keeps my hips in a comfortable position (I swing one leg over the long part). I highly recommend it to stomach sleepers, as you can use it to get in a leaning forward side position (sort of half way between on your stomach and on your side) with your belly comfortably cushioned by the long part of the pillow (this is as close to on my stomach as I think I am going to get until after baby).I can't say the cover is made of the nicest fabric, but it doesn't seem to bother my sensitive skin and is removable, so it is easily washed. For extra softness, and so I don't have to wash it as often, I simply lay a regular a pillow case over the top portion where my head rests. If you think this pillow might help you sleep better, but aren't sure if you want to make the investment, I encourage you to go for it and not wait any longer. If you are nervous about the size, I have a queen bed and the pillow, my husband, and I, all fit just fine. Maybe it isn't right for everyone, but it has given me back many hours of sleep and took away many aches and pains, so it is very worth it to me.

Worth the purchase
I recently had shoulder surgery and was required to sleep in a recliner for several weeks. I was looking for solutions to be able to sleep in bed. I looked at other body pillows or pillows recommended for pregnant women. This pillow has allowed me to be able to sleep in bed. Very happy. In addition, my partner will be able to use it when he has hip replacement surgery within the next year. This was another reason I chose this pillow. Iβm 5β3 and he is 6β3, so the extra long length will support his recovery as well. I recommend this pillow. Iβd read complaints/ concerns about pillow stuffing for some pillows; however, this one is great, no complaints.

Gets uncomfortable over time
Have to edit my review after using this for most of my pregnancy. I found it comfortable only in first 4 months while after some of the filling inside moved away from head support into the long 'legs' of the pillow. This made my head hurt from being lower than the rest of my body. I tried to move it back but it was not working. Also cleaning the pillow is hard. I took off the pillow case first time and washed it...was the hardest thing to put it back on! Especially when you are drained and have no energy. For the rest of my pregnancy I used my usual pillow with some smaller ones to support my belly and had to put this one away.

5/5
I have sciatica and lower back issues so I use it regularly to relieve pressure on my lower back and to keep a more aligned back while I sleep. this is a life saver. Literally improved my quality of life the same week. If you have tight hamstrings and back issues I recommend this to rest your legs on and relieve pressure to avoid lower back aches.

Works great for hip pain and tall people.
I love the length and it works in a queen size bed, it does have a nasty seam that wold dig into your shoulder but I use a pillow ontop of the body pillow so it isnt a problem for me. The pillow case is a draw back, hard to remove and put back on and when I got the pillow it had to be washed right away due to a smell from where it was stored.

uncomfortable
people rave about this pillow but I honestly hate it so much. Not comfortable, bulky and my neck and stomach are in pain if I use this. It's legit sitting in a corner collecting don't now. Don't recommend it at all.
