Exactly what I wanted to carry a pro model saxophone
I no longer have to carry my son's saxophone into his lessons. My 12-year-old son is small and did not like carrying the heavy leather case that came with his professional model saxophone. He carries the music and his oboe; I carried the sax. He LOVES the new case and the blue color. He always wants to carry the sax AND the oboe now. I just carry the check book ;) He would like to take the case to school, but he has an old beater that he keeps at school and does not have to transport it.My son's private lesson teacher is very picky, but he really likes this case. It is structurally very rigid, but has a soft feel on the outside and is still very light weight. I was nervous about getting a soft-side style case for this expensive instrument, but I have no concerns with this one. There is more than enough storage, including zipper pockets on both the bottom side and top sides. We bought an optional backpack strap. It would work great if you had to carry it for quite a distance or ride a bike, but for short trips it is easier to just use the nicely padded sling shoulder strap. The case also has feet that will allow it to stand upright or on its side, keeping the cover off the floor. This was truly a great find. Good value, protection, look, and feel.

Just What I Needed as a Non-Pro Player
I'm a casual alto sax player and I frequently play with a friend who's on keyboards. Since the keys are fixed at his home, I'm the one who always travels back and forth, and I had been using a soft sided gig bag with a cushioned interior. Well, I learned that this type of case provides some protection, but not much. A bump against the door, a thump while getting out of the car, a tip-over onto the floor...these little things rattle the valves and springs. After 2 repairs within 8 months I decided to invest in a better case and I bought this one a few weeks ago. It is fantastic. Sturdy and firm, it's heavier than a soft case but much lighter than the original hard case that the horn came in. Lots of storage space with big zip pouches on both sides. My sax, neck and mouthpiece go inside the case. In the outer pockets fit my swabs, cleaning rags, eyeglasses, neck strap, reeds, reed geek, ligature and there's even room for more. The horn stays snuggly in place. There is little to no wiggle room for all the important gear. I highly recommend this case.

Great Instrument case
We purchased a Protec case to replace a broken hard shell case for my son's tenor sax, and decided to buy one for my other son's alto sax for which we had a worn out soft shell case. These cases beat both of our other cases.- very smart looking case available in multiple colors. My kids liked choosing their color.- Exterior is a very sturdy-looking fabric.- Contoured design gives the instrument adequate protection while minimizing the bulk of the case. Most rectangular cases are bulky.- Internal storage is sufficient for all of the components of the sax as well as some cleaning supplies. There is an additional zippered storage compartment on the outside of the case which provides more than sufficient additional storage. Very convenient and easy to access.- there are handles on the top and end of the case, which make it very easy to move around in tight spaces.- Shoulder strap makes it easy to carry. We bought the additional "backpack straps," which we thought would make the instrument easier to carry walking to and from school, but the boys don't use them.- plastic "feet" on the bottom and end protect the fabric while the case is sitting on the ground, and allow you to stand it on end, which is nice for storage.

Buescher 140 alto saxophone
This is the perfect case for the Buescher 140 alto saxophone. I'm very pleased as to how well the case is made. I know time will tell, but first impressions are: well-built and plenty of extra storage.

Great size, features and protection
I have been looking for a case that had a separate storage compartment for the neck and the mouthpiece because the one that came with my instrument did not have them. My sax, however, is a vintage model with a wide bell and prominent key guards. I tried several models of cases and was unable to close the case on any of them. This case was recommended to me by a repair tech who had an instrument come in inside one of these. Sax fits perfectly, snug and protected but with room to close and compartments for mouthpiece and neck. There is a large compartment on one side that hold an extra mouthpiece, neck strap, cleaning kit, two boxes of reed and an extra mouthpiece. An even larger compartment on the other side holds my Hercules stand. The construction seems great. Although I wanted a hard rectangular case, I am perfectly satisficed with this case even though it isn't exactly what I started out searching for. If you have a more modern sax, you have plenty of choices, but even then, I highly recommend this case.

Good cases at a cost
I now have ~5 of these for different horns, both alto & tenor. I trust them with my Yamaha, Yanigisawa, Mark VI, and other vintage horns. I used to used a Reunion Blues leather bag but, really, noone should use a bag without an internal frame for travel with any kind of horn worth anything. I much prefer these well-structured bags as I can sling over a shoulder. This is helpful particularly is common situations where I cannot dedicate one arm to carry a box case while walking any amount of distance and/or carrying additional gear like a music stand (whose carry bags are always awful.).Be sure to check whether your horn will require the standard bag or the "XL". I have one vintage horn with bell keys on the right side and the XL works well for that. The rest of my horns fit well in the standard bag.In any situation where I'd have to turn a horn over to someone else to load it on a truck or bus, I'd probably still opt for the factory case or find a very rugged solid box case. I just value my horns too much to trust them to a brute throwing equipment around. But these are great when left in my own care. These have unfortunately gotten expensive (like everything else) over the last few years.

Great quality, love the color!
The Sax card is well made. Sturdy and offering excellent protection to the horn. The fit for my Yamaha horn is just right; snug the way it should be. The color (I opted for blue) is really nice, unique, just the right hue, not too loud.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase!

Exceptional service and product
I ordered this on 19 December, hoping it would arrive in time for Christmas, even though Amazon said it might notI had an unprompted email from the seller to check with me if it was a Christmas present, so that he could despatch it in time. I am totally blown away by this level of customer service. He was concerned that my chosen colour (blue) would arrive too late, so gave me other options to choose from. In the end, he managed to get a blue one, post it the same day and it arrived on 21 December. The case itself is beautifully made, very practical and worth every penny.I really could not rate this seller highly enough!

Merci
