Worked to protect hardwood floors, then I moved house, now it protects the carpet from wheels & spilled drinks I knocked off my desk. Very flat, bends and doesn't crack or snap. Delivery was a little awkward, because it counts as "large furniture" but it's light and thin. Easy to use, easy to move or re-arrange.

This protective floor mat has a well finished edge and a smooth back which means that, when placed on a smooth floor, it stays flat and is very hard to move or dislodge by accident. The rough top surface lets my chair roll when I want it to, but it doesn't slide all over the place on its own.

Good, hard wearing mat to potect my laminate flooring from my 'roller' chair, really happy with it.

I am a BIG guy and put one of these under my office/gaming chair 38 months ago. Despite a hard life, it worked perfectly but just recently started to show a crack starting under one of the castors. Naturally I replaced with the same. Reading reviews etc makes polycarbonate a no brainer and experience gives me confidence in this make. It arrives loosely rolled in a big box. Once unrolled it takes no time to go completely flat. If it works half as well for you its twice as good for me.

I have tried a few cheaper rolled up mats and they never lay flat. This one is delivered flat and stays flat. Very tough with a nice finish. I had to cut it around my desk, very difficult as it is tough but worth the effort. If you need to cut it then use a Stanley knife with a new blade and a metal straight edge and take your time with lots of light pressure cuts and eventually it will cut though.

I oredered two of these initially and was pleased that they protected my floor. I then ordered one more only to find it did not lay flat when opened with the correct side facing downwards. As I had a good experience with the first two, I ordered a replacement. This one doesn’t lay flat either. Useless - both are going back for a refund. Update: I contacted the supplier, Mat Stores UK through Amazon to point out the problem. They replied to my message immediately with a recommendation that I place a new order directly through their website. This I did. Just over a day later I received a new mat which this time lays perfectly flat. Surprisingly, it was also rolled up the same way as the previous two, so I can only assume the mats in stock with Amazon have a fault in manufacture. I recommend buying the heavy duty 120 x150cm mat for a hardwood floor direct from Mats Stores UK for the time being until Amazon replenish their stock. I am pleased with this purchase. The mat looks hardwearing and should protect my floor for a long time. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I had to return the two mats ordered from Amazon.

I use this for my wheeled office chair on a short pile bedroom carpet. It does exactly what it's supposed to, no complaints there. I do have to keep repositioning it but it's a small price to pay for protecting the carpet. However, after less than 2 years of regular use it's become very cracked, as you can see from the photos. If it was cheaper I wouldn't mind but at this price I think it should last longer.

This chair mat met all my expectations. It came flat in the packaging. It is sturdy, sheer and does not slip. I have been using it for a few weeks and have no complaints. It’s a little more expensive than others but I am super happy with it.

Die Matte kam gerollt und gut verpackt an. Sie lag bereits direkt nach dem Auspacken eben auf dem Boden ohne sich zu wölben. Sie riecht nicht und wirkt gut verarbeitet. Die Kanten sind abgerundet. Die Matte ist nicht ganz klar und auf einer Seite strukturiert. Wir nutzen sie unter dem Hochstuhl unseres Kindes zum Schutz unseres Holzbodens. Wenn das Kind sitzt, rutscht der Stuhl auch nicht. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Die Matte wurde schnell geliefert. Verpackung: Leicht gerollt mit einem Gurt gebunden, das ist völlig in Ordnung und war ohne Probleme nach dem auspacken völlig Plan, keine Kanten oder Ecken die hoch stehen. Dies ist die 2. Matte, die ich von Marvelux gekauft habe. die 1. Matte war aber mit Noppen für Teppich. Die erste Matte von Marvelux habe ich vor über 2 Jahren gekauft und ist immer noch TOP in Ordnung, aber wie gesagt mit Noppen für Teppich. Beide Matten musste ich leider selber entgraten, mit kleinem Hobel und Schleifpapier geht dies ganz gut. Wie lange diese Matte hält weiß ich nicht, sieht aber auch sehr stabil aus. Leider muss ich aber auch sagen, dass die Matte etwas auf dem Boden Rutsch. Auf der Matte ist ein Aufkleber von der Firma FLOORTEX

Gute Qualität, vernünftige Kanten/Ecken - keine Grate oder schiefe/scharfe Kanten. Durch die Oberflächenbeschaffenheit leicht milchige Optik, die aber den Untergrund durchscheinen lässt. Bewegt sich aufgrund des Materials auf Laminat hin und her, aber das stand so auch irgendwo. Nach einigen Wochen keinerlei Abnutzungserscheinungen zu sehen. Insofern gibt es für den Käufer lediglich eine Empfehlung: Die Größe möglichst so zu wählen, dass bspw. der Schreibtisch/PC wenigstens an ein/zwei Stellen mit auf der Matte steht und diese beschwert, so dass das Rutschen verhindert wird.

Ich bin super zufrieden mit der Matte auf meinem Parkett! Hatte zuvor in meinem Zimmer mit Teppich die version mit den Nibbeln unten drunter. War auch top. Kann ich wärmstens empfehlen.

Technically it would protect the hard floor from office chair wheels, but this mat is almost friction less sliding on the floor. One move with the chair the whole thing goes with it and standing up and walk away slides the whole mat with your feet away (I consider this almost dangerous). Attempts to use transparent packaging tape to fix it on the ground failed, the tape barely sticks to the rough surface (top side). If they want to improve the product they should consider adding a silicone film beneath or something. Haven't found any solution yet... putting a carpet non-slip mat may or may not work, but it would defeat the purpose of the transparent look... instead of the floor one would be looking at one of those ugly non-lip mats for carpets...no thanks. Will try some double sided gel tape as someone from the comments recommended. Sorry but for hard surfaces (lamiate flooring) this hard-surface mat is not suited.
