The Uncanny X-Men Series 1 Trading Cards

I was obsessed with these cards as a kid and just opening the box up gave me a rush of nostalgia. I still really enjoy Jim Lee's art and the danger room cards are still as cool as I remember them. Got the entire base set but one, but was able to get that on ebay for .99 and got all the holograms except for Wolverine which was also on ebay for very cheap. All in all, a great experience opening up those packs of cards again, I felt nine years old.

Yeah I opened it lol love everything about it and got all the cards. All of them great but one card had an edge pushed in, other then that great! Thank you 🙏🏽

I never had the chance as a kid to collect them all and now it's cool that I could find them and collect them. I'm an artist and I enjoy Jim lees art style of the XMen.

Jim Lee's X-Men were awesome. I started reading comics during his early run on X-Men. I collected some of these cards when I was little, when my mom would let me go into the comic book store, but I never had a whole set. When I saw the box deal it was too good to pass up. I received one complete set from the box including all the holograms. I was a few cards shy of getting 2 complete sets. I highly recommend for anyone looking to recapture some childhood memories.

These cards are exactly as awesome as I remember them, plus the box was in excellent shape and was packaged/shipped nicely.

I actually bought these at a local comic book store for a few dollars less then what they were offering here but it is the same product. Even had the exact same box as pictured, though there are a few different designs.The cards were all in great shape, and they looked brand new just like you would expect them to. One thing I didn't expect though was there design....most cards that I have bought will have the entire front covered in art. These are different, they have a border around the art that is pink, or blue with x's in it for x-men and x-factor. Honestly it sounds odd, but it just reaks of 90's charm. And it was a nice little touch that makes them stand out, at least in my eyes.I have 1 complete base set, all the non holographic cars. And I got 4 of the 5 gold holo cards, which was better then expected. I was able to pick up the last one for pretty cheap to finish up the entire set.Honestly if you were a fan of the x-men in the 90's then you owe it to yourself to pick these ups. Its a great trip down memory lane, and they have found a nice place in my collection.

I still remember when I was a kid and trying to put this whole set together back in 1992-93. Now I own the set along with the HOLO chase cards, man, I still can't believe I have them all!! I really love the artwork of Jim Lee - one of my fave comic book artists - and the whole set looks reallllly cutting edge! If you are a true X-Men fan/collector/enthusiast I recommend you BUY this set before they all sell out! :)X-Men 4ever! - jose h. from Pinole, ca.
