Good Priced Modern Kettle
This kettle is perfect for the price. The whistle is loud and it looks very modern. I would say that the spout is very hot to touch when boiled so you do need to use a tea towel to protect your fingers but it doesn’t bother me that much. For the price, this is a good kettle.

Smart looking but hot handle!
A very smart looking kettle. Boils quickly. The only negative is that there is heat conducting metal on the handle which makes it very uncomfortable to pick up the kettle once it has boiled.

Nice kettle
Looks nice! Works well. I really do like it!I would say that it can be quite difficult to get the lid off sometimes and the lid on the end of the spout can get very hot so beware when opening after boiling.

Hot Spout and Handle
The style of this kettle is lovely but not practical. If the kettle is filled with half or more water, the spout gets too hot to lift and pour unless waiting for a minute to cool. The handle also has strips of stainless steel along the sides that are exposed and get hot, again meaning a cautionary handling or waiting for cool down. It is a nice kettle but requires caution while using.

Buy a plastic handle or spend a fortune!!
This kettle is rubbish once boiled, the tiny bit of rubber on the handle does not stop the handle from being ridiculously hot. I had to use my oven mittens to hold it, which makes it unsturdy for me to use causing high risk of spillage and burns.

Nice looking but not practical
I was about to buy the third KitchenCraft Le'Xpress Kettle after having the second one for almost three years but decided to give this one a try. The moment it was taken out of the box, I knew it was a mistake. It looks nice but is very light (less durable?) compared to the 2 litre KitchenCraft. Then came the scraping sound when I took off the lid. It’s the kind of sound that makes your heart flutter. My old ones never made such noise. It however wasn’t until I boiled a full kettle of water that I decided I had to go through the trouble to send it back. If you see the product picture, the handle is not fully insulated. The two sides have no silicone. Why and why someone would design a kettle handle like this is beyond me. Did they even test boiling some water in it then take it off the hob without oven gloves? The spout has no silicone either so you can’t flip it open without getting your finger scalded. The only thing good about it is that it seems to boil water faster than my old one (because it’s lighter so thinner?).
