Darice 12-Inch-by-12-Inch Protect and Store Box

I used to get these at hobby lobby, but are discontinued, Amazon to the rescue. I started using them for scrapbook paper and supplies as the clear sides let you see what was inside and they stack nicely. I like them so much that I got one for cookie cutters, one for cake decorating supplies, one for treat bags and cupcake papers , etc, etc., they are light weight ,secure when stacked, yet you can pull one from the middle of the stack without toppling the stack. I will continue to add more as I find uses for them.

I have at least a dozen of these for storage and the best place to buy them is on Amazon, best price, best shipping, all of it! They are sturdier than they look and they fit perfectly on standard cube shelves (Jetmax, Recollection) when other heavy sterilite-type organizers are too big! I use them to hold my scrapbooking projects include cardstock, paper, ephemera, stickers, etc. There is a minor issue that cardstock and other 12x12 paper only fits when you trim off the 1/4" of the brand-and-upc strip. Not a problem at all for me because I would have to do that anyway to use the paper! So in my spare time I am knocking time off my project.

I use these storage containers to store holiday themed cardmaking & scrapbooking items & papers.I can see directly into each one because the material is a CLEAR hard plastic. Think of durable "clamshell" containers that new items are packaged in at the store. It's even more durable than those AND it's easier to open! The lid swings open & stays attached to the container.Some of the themes I use are Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Independence Day, Birthdays, & Halloween. I also have bulk stamped cardstock for card kits.They stack nicely & I've never had a problem with the lids popping open.I also use these for storing sewing supplies. It's "clearly" one of the best 12" x12" cardstock containers I've found.

love these for a variety of stuff. I like that they are clear as opposed to most things that are "frosted" and are considered "clear". I have several of these and have cut some of the lids off of some of them so that I have the open container where I need it. They stack well. They hold 12" x 12" paper as well.

Plastic is cheap and flimsy - about the thickness of a takeout salad container. The box is difficult to open and has sharp, uneven edges that could easily cut someone. I'm keeping because of the cost of returning the boxes, but I wish I'd purchased another, sturdier brand.

I was shopping for molded heavy plastic storage items, such as what you would use on a desk or for storage. This item is not at all what I was expecting, and quite frankly was overpriced for what it is. This is similar to the weight and design of the cheap lightweight plastic containers your Costco cookies come in. Definitely not a sturdy item.
