Forum Women's Lady Bug Costume

This is a (vest-type) costume. In other words, you will need pants/leggings/tights and a shirt to wear under it! I’m 5’8” and it fit just to the bottom of my crotch - so you might not get a lot of modesty coverage. The wings were a bit bent, but you can straighten them out fairly quickly. I would advise that you get it out of the package several days before you plan to wear it, so the wrinkles have a chance to hang out. I took mine into the bathroom while I took a shower for 3 or 4 days prior. A great costume for teachers as you could use for a literature theme day (goes with Eric Carle’s book “The Grouchy Ladybug” and it comfy enough to teach in!

My mother and I are going on a Disney cruise this coming October and will be taking part in a costume party. She's going to be a bumblebee and I will be a ladybug. The ladybug costume is absolutely adorable. The fit is as promised and the colors of the red/black apron are vibrant. The only draw back (and reason I gave it a 4 star) is the wings are a bit flimsy. We had to sew the seams together and stitch the top part of the wing to the actual costume in order for the wings to take shape and stay in position. Other than that small hiccup, for the money it's a great costume. (One more note: The bonnet fits well and looks cute, however I purchased bopper antenna because I get very hot wearing the costume's headpiece).

I'm a huge fan of these "sack" costumes! They are comfortable, no-fuss, and completely adorable. I love to wear leggings and a long-sleeved tee, and the wings are soft enough to wear a little jacket or blazer without causing a bulky problem. I opted for antennae I bought separately and some great bug-eye glasses instead of the hood. I have the bumblebee costume as well, and I just think this is the greatest costume ever for a mama of small kids who needs to be comfortable (and cover up a post-kid midsection as well)!

I truly loved this costume. Throw on a black long sleeve , leggings and you’re good to go. It’s a costume you can continue to wear for years to come if you take care of it.It’s warm too! Perfect for those chilly Halloween nights when you’re out with the kids.It’s also perfect for a “work” costume.

Way too small and uncomfortable

My wife had fun wearing this costume to her daycare job. The children really liked it.

I love the lady bug costume, and it fit great, but you did' t include the hat! Thinking I may have misread what was included, I looked it over again and even went back on line to verify, and yes it included the one piece costume, and hat! So, I wasn't very happy, as I was the one hosting the costume party. I would certainly like to get the hat. As it is a costume I would wear again. So sorry I cannot give you a five star rating, as I feel that a important piece to this outfit was not included.

This is super cute! My daughter loved it! However, I noticed left wing was sewn on properly. Like the top of the wing isn’t even attached in the seam. She didn’t seem to care because she NEEDED the costume the next day.
