POPCHOSE Fabric Shaver, 6-Leaf Blades & Electrostatic Brush, Rechargeable

I bought a sectional second hand & it had a LOT of piling and honestly i thought it was hopeless. But i ordered this and gave it a try & it completely helped me turn my sectional around. Not only is the piling gone but it looks cleaner. it’s a good size. i managed to do all 5 seats, plus the backs, around the arms and sides of the couch & the ottoman without having to charge it once! I did have to empty it after every cushion, but that was only because there was so much to be cleaned up. The “vacuum” type feature where it sucks the pieces of fabric up is so nice because it also got up some dust/dirt! It came with a storage bag, charging cord & extra blades. It did not snag my furniture once (and I even let my 5 year old try it). I have already gotten my moneys worth out of it & will continue to use it as needed on all of my furniture! Battery life is great. super easy to use. great value! I highly recommend!!

Very pleased with this Popchose Fabric Shaver, as it has met and exceeded my expectations. I needed it primarily for a sofa that was heavily pilled. It has done an amazing job and was easy to use. It is lightweight, has a pivotal handle, and has a decent run time for the charge. I feel this was a very good value and consider it an wise investment.

I wanted to remove the pills that had developed on our large sectional fabric couch over the past 7-8 years. I bought the Popchose Fabric Shaver because had a larger surface area than most of the other ones I saw. All in all, this fabric shaver worked fairly well. I definitely had to go over each spot multiple times to get most of the pills out, pressing harder and softer, changing directions, etc. But in the end, I could see a difference, and the couch does look better. It takes a while - don't expect to eliminate pilling with one pass through. A fair amount of material came off onto the bristles in the rim attachment (the "electrostatic brush"). I cleaned the unit whenever I felt like there was enough stuff inside the chamber or in those bristles. I used an old toothbrush to get the material off of the rim bristles, and the little brush that came with the unit to clean the blades. For each 3'x3' section of the couch, it took me maybe 15-20 minutes to eliminate 90-95% of the pilling. The unit was easy to open and clean, and the charge (via a USB cable) lasted longer than I wanted to spend working on the couch at any given point in time. I haven't tried it on any of my sweaters yet, but after doing the eight 3'x3' sections of our couch, I'm thinking it wouldn't hurt to change the blade, using the replacement blade that came with the unit. I am not sure I am able to get the electrostatic brush off, though. I tried following the instructions for removing it, but so far have not had luck. All in all, it was worth the $25 and change I paid for this shaver to make our couch look a little better. Sadly, the cat has gone to town on the corners which is something a fabric shaver can't handle. To deal with that, I used sharp scissors and cut off the strands/torn material as closely as possible!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this product! I used to own a Remington sweater shaver and compared to that it DID work so much faster AND more completely. The varied hole sizes ensured you can get all sizes of fuzz/pills. The brush attachment did a fantastic job as well on our wool coats. I was skeptical at first thinking I didn’t need it but it helped smooth and brush the fabric for an even smooth finish. I was able to save two coats (mine and my daughter’s) saving us a ton of money! And they look fantastic! It took me about 10 min to do my daughter’s 3T red wool coat and about 20 min to do mine which was in really bad shape. The charge lasted through both of those and I could have kept going. Battery life was exceptional.and unlike that you can use it plugged in too. I plan to do many more sweaters and other clothing items, just pacing myself. Definitely glad I bought this product because of the time it saves over the smaller ones like this. And these ease of use makes it so worth it. The handle rotates which is nice, but I never needed to personally. My only issue is the compartment that fills with lint filled quicker than I would have liked and it was slightly hard to remove to empty it, but I always got it open. I also love that it comes with 2 replacement blades so I will be using this a long time!

It does do the job of defuzzing with no problem. I like it's oversized head and powerful blade. Love the handle too it makes it easier to operate different angles of the garment.

This fabric shaver is honestly the most comfortable to handle that I've ever had. For this price range, it's honestly the bomb. It has saved so many of my clothes. Like this scarf pictured above, with "before" and "after" drawn on them (my quick photo editor only had draw no text, excuse my terrible cursive). The scarf was put in the drier with an old blanket that literally shedded all over it, plus I have 2 dogs... You can tell the difference. I only spent 2 minutes shaving the pictured area, and I think it clearly shows a difference. It's rechargeable, I've had a few shavers that required batteries. They would sometimes die in the middle of my work and if I didn't have batteries I was out of luck with fuzzies stuck all over my clothing! Yuck. This one, I just leave on the charger when I'm done, it never dies. The blades are sharp and they give you more than one to replace. Honestly, for this price range, I was pleased with the product, and I think you will be too! No more batteries. Oh and bonus, if you forget to charge and it dies, you can use it while its on the charger, the cord is decently long so no issues there. The clean up is also super simple. It also wont spin if the shield is off, which is a great safety feature, especially if you have curious kids around (I have a zealous toddler who likes to explore everything in the house, lol) So a simple safety feature like that goes a long way. I haven't had any issues with ripping holes in my clothes either, I've had other ones that would snag fabrics so easily. Overall, if you've been using these cheaper shavers with batteries, ditch them and buy this one. You won't be disappointed, in my opinion! Environmentally friendly, safe, effective, honestly works like a charm! 🥰

Okay fabric shaver for sweaters. Gets the job done.

It's an excellent tool to facilitate the removal of hairs, lint and little bumps from your soft fibre clothes.

I have used a pile shaver before but this one was a deluxe model. With a rechargeable battery, velcro and side brush features and spare blades, it should last a lot longer and keep my clothes looking like new even longer
