Apollo 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil - Black

I’ve been using the Faber-Castell 0.5mm mechanical pencil with HB lead for woodworking, mainly to mark out accurate cuts, and it’s been spot on. The fine point gives a clean, precise line which is ideal when working to tight measurements. It’s comfortable to hold for longer sessions, doesn’t smudge easily, and the built-in eraser is handy for quick corrections. The HB lead strikes a good balance — dark enough to see, but not so soft that it wears down constantly. A solid choice if you want accuracy without sharpening. Would happily buy again.

I just can't give it 5 stars - the pencil itself is decently expensive, and paired with the rubber tips which you need to get the exact brand for... good product, but expensive!

Great pen, cheaper than comparable mechanical pencils. I prefer it over the Rotring 600 as it is more comfortable to hold and it has a nice extendible rubber attached. However, it is not metal. The grip is very comfortable, and I've not had any issues with the mechanism.

I had been looking around for a pink propelling pencil for ages, to keep with my pink diary. This one fits the bill well. It’s a lovely shade of baby pink. It is sturdy but not too heavy. Feels and looks expensive. Writes nice and smooth and erases really well too. No issues with the leads breaking so far. I love using it. Hope I can get replacement leads… ?!?

The best new addition to my pencil case. lovely soft grip but nicely weighted for a plastic mechanical pencil body. the twist up eraser is a great addition too. lovely to draw with, great value for money, highly recommend

Bought for precision marking in woodwork. Excellent marks timber clearly and precisely with no sharpening required.

I've been a fan of F-C's Grip Plus 0.7 pencils for decades - I must have about six of them. The Apollo has all the same good qualities except in a slimmer body, which in many ways makes it even more convenient. The grip is still very comfortable, the pencil is well-built and reliable, the eraser is smaller than the Grip Plus but still large enough (also extendable and replaceable) for normal purposes. Everyone who has tried this pencil wants one! Highly recommended.

Ein ziemlich gewöhnlicher Druckbleistift meiner Meinung nach. Aber was mir auffällt, ist der etwas weichere Griff. Empfehlenswert für Leute, die schnell Handschmerzen bekommen. Das Radiergummi hält gut und wackelt nicht + es lässt sich leicht rausdrehen mit einen leisen klicken.

Der Bleistift liegt gut in der Hand und ist etwas schwerer. Genauso wie ich es mag. Tolles Teil.

Ich mag den Stift, er ist etwas dicker als die üblichen Druckbleistifte. Ich finde dadurch ist er angenehmer zu benutzen.
