I instaled a new graphics card which needed additional power-more than the PCI-e socket could supply, this did the job even though I only needed one lead at the price I don't mind the spare two leads.

Worked for Dell R430
I noticed this is for Lenovo motherboard only, however I still want to try it. fortunately it worked. I use it to replace the original dvdrom slot with an ssd, the dvdrom has a very strange sata power port, I am glad I now have one more hdd in my server.
