I'm familiar with the exit game series, which aren't really re-playable. Is this similar in that you solve it once and you're done?

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out regarding our Adventure Games! These games are different from our EXIT: The Game series in that they can be replayed, and no part of the game is destroyed during gameplay. There are different storylines to follow, so you should get a few plays out of each game! Thanks, Thames and Kosmos Technical Support

Why is the recommended age so high? Complexity or intensity on content?

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out to us regarding our Adventure Games! The age range on these games is higher both due to complexity of the puzzles and the type of content. There may be more advanced concepts or more mature themes present in these games than in other games rated for younger age groups. Thanks again for asking and I hope that you have a fun day! Kind regards, Thames & Kosmos Technical Support Team

Does it require notepad/pen or other utensils to play?

Hi. You don't need any writing utensils. You can take a look at the instructions for the game here: https://www.thamesandkosmos.com/manuals/full/695132_Monochrome_Inc_Manual.pdf
