It just works
It works perfectly. The signal is good. I use it to capture video and take screenshots from my PS5/Switch, and then project to my computer monitor. The only downside is due to it is in 1080p capture. The image quality is not very good. But it’s still serve its purpose. No noticable latency, barely none. Need avercentral application to use

Great, easy to use tool to get you started in live streaming!
As the go-to IT person in my Church congregation, I was asked to set up a live stream during the 2020 pandemic shutdown. I purchased a Canon Vixia HF R800 video camera and hoped to pair it with an Elgato Camlink. However, the Camlink was impossible to find anywhere, so I settled for Live Gamer Mini. In conducting my research prior to purchase, the reviews I read on the device varied. However, my experience with this device was great. To get my stream onto the internet, I am using a Windows 10 laptop running OBS. I connected my camera to the Live Gamer Mini and the Mini to my computer. It worked flawlessly the first time. Windows recognized the device. It was not necessary to download and install any drivers. While I do not know how this device compares to others, it works great for our intended purposes. I would highly recommend this to someone who is getting started in live streaming and is looking to save some money over similar Elgato devices.

Took getting used to, but once all set up, works super well
Firstly. GDI AMAZON stop with the stupid star categories... "Thickness" ?! and Sheerness again. Jeez. Not a whole lot to add to title. I use it to stream NES/Retro consoles. I have those through AV switcher into a Retrotink (HDMI upscaler) and that into the capture card. NES looks awesome. Wasn't 100% "plug and play" though. Had to jump some hoops in Windows 10 to get it to register properly and had to manually deal with its appearance as a sound/video device to get OBS to see it properly. After that /it/ worked seamlessly. I say /it/ because it kinda killed my Yeti mic drivers or something. I had to full uninstall and reinstall the mic for it to work again. Probably just a unique to my PC thing, but make sure you go check see if can download drivers ahead of plugging it in. Might not be an issue for others, but was for me. Only took like 30 mins to troubleshoot and fix everything though. I've also used it to play/stream my Switch so far, quality is great! It's TINY. Very light-weight. HDMI cables throw it around accordingly, so take care there. Plastic casing could probably take a couple knocks, but feels like a bad one would break it. Ports are firm when plugging cables in. I haven't been able to try the pass-through port yet to a TV or something. USB 3.0 port on my PC powers is just fine. Granted, it's actually running at 2.0 power/specs due to my dinosaur mobo. If you plan to have this "stick" or stay somewhere, would recommend velcro or braces or something if you don't want the cables moving it around too much. Overall, great purchase and so far would recommend it. Plays nice with Retrotink and OBS which may be a concern to some. EG: Retrotink and El-gato don't play nice I've heard. Again, lets replace useless "feature" reviews with useable ones: Construction: 4/5 - case could use with /something/ that external brace or something could hold onto Functionality: 5/5 - definitely works like a charm once all set up, and being able to power it with USB2.0 w/o problems is wonderful for older PCs (y'know, like 3-4 years old or more)

Does exactly what I wanted it to do.
Basically this little gadget is for streaming or recording gameplay from consoles, I use it primarily for my Switch, but another underrated feature that I use a lot is when the software is open and it's picking up the signal from the Switch I can stream my screen through Discord and my friends and I can play a game together, like something story based. I wouldn't recommend trying to play anything intense like Smash through it as there is noticeable input lag. But it's great for what it does and the price point as well. Would recommend, for sure.

Works Extremely Well
I bought the capture card to be able to stream Bloodborne to friends. I had an initial issue of figuring out why it would not work. It turns out that you have to disable HDCP on the PS4 to have the capture card work properly. I had no issues with it since then.

Great for Starters, but not ideal for Pro Streamers - You get what you pay for
I've only had this capture card for about a week, and my only reason for buying this was to replace a Live Gamer Ultra that recently died on me. However, there are some important things everyone needs to know: Pros: - Sound Quality is spot on, and is well in sync with my game inputs - Easy to set up, and to plug and play - Great for beginners. Cons: - The picture and video quality on this capture card are NOT ideal for pro streamers like me who are wanting the very best out of streaming - If you use this, don't use it with OBS, because the video delay is REALLY bad, and there is like about a half-second input delay as well. - Micro USB powered instead of USB C. While the price is rather easy on your bank, you are pretty much stuck with very limited options, and really, AverMedia, that is YOUR fault. If you want to be a pro streamer, get something that supports 4K, even if you "don't" really need it. Trust me, those work WAY better whether or not your graphics card "can handle it".

Seems to be working good so far
Wanted to capture 1080P video only using OBS, didn't need the audio capture. Plugged it in, Win10 installed the driver, loaded up OBS and easily set it up as a video capture device and the image looked exactly as what I was seeing on the monitor. This device also captures audio. The annoying thing was Win10 changed my default audio capture device (line-in on the sound card, we have our sound board line out connected to it) to be this device after it installed the driver and it took me a little while to figure it out. Unfortunately church has already started and we didn't do a sound check beforehand so the stream was missing the first 10 minutes of audio (can't troubleshoot while working the slides). Arrrrghh! Not this devices fault, totally Win10 fault. So you've been warned, be sure to check that. You can set OBS audio capture to look specifically at the line-in, I had it set to default device.

working well for me
The negative reviews made me think long and hard whether to go for Avermedia live gamer mini or stick to the mainstream Elgato HD60s. But my budget suits Avermedia better so I went for it anyway and is pleasantly surprised that it is working well unlike what the negative reviews were saying. My stream is smooth and quality is good. No lag and im streaming on a laptop! The shipment from US was fast too! Took about 4-5 working days.

Very easy to set up, comes with an Hdmi but be sure to have another for the monitor you plug into. Still using it now and it works fine. The quality is what it specifies.

Works great for PS5!
Opened the box and just plugged in my PS5 to Avermedia, and then into my TV and my ASUS TUF gaming computer. No programs to download. Very simple and straightforward. I use OBS and after figuring out how to use OBS, it was fast and easy. No noticeable lag. Had to figure out how to get PS5 to work with the capture card and OBS with a google search, which didn’t take too much time. There is a HDMI setting on PS5 that must be turned off before Avermedia can pick up the signal. (You won’t be able to watch Netflix etc. when you turn off this setting, which isn’t a problem, cause you just turn the setting back on when you’re done streaming.) This is all easier than it sounds, there are a lot of helpful articles and youtube videos out there. Personally thankful this was so easy and straightforward to use, as someone who is new to streaming, twitch, obs, etc.
