magical creatures
I was initially surprised on how well kids love this toy. They love spending time creating new (and wierd looking) creatures. We had purchased a different set of mythmorphs a while ago and my son had brought that set in for show and share. It was such a big hit the teachers asked us several times to bring it back. We decided that this would be a great gift to give for my child's daycare classroom. I have been very impressed with the way the pieces have held up and not broken. There are small knobs on the attachments that have not come off even after a large group of kids have played with them. Even now these are still one of our 'go to' toys.

great toy with high interest.
My 6 year old twins have played with these toys DAILY since they received them on their 4th birthday. What other toy can boast that? I can't believe they don't make them anymore. the downside is that they little peg do break off rendering the parts useless some times. but for the most part they stand up to kids heavy usage.2017 update:My daughter has a macabre sense of ethstetics. She STILL loves making creatures a là Island of Dr Moreaux. The creepier, the better, in her opinion. And if bug parts can be added to mammal parts, it's a bonus. Well, she loves these. We'd buy more if we could find them!!

quality not as good on this set
This was the second set of zoomorphs bought for my son. The first set was the Rainforest Zoomorphs. He got these Mythmorphs and they are great too, however, two of the little pegs have broken off. First from the unicorn's tail, and now from the griffon head. So these two pieces are not usable anymore, no way to fix this. The first set I bought none of the pegs came off and we have had it for about 2 years. This one we have had for barely 2 months. .

Worth the money. Fun toy for boys & girls
My kid's Montessori school says that the students (boys & girls) love to play with Zoomorphs. My son used to come home describing them to me. Once a year, the school has a Christmas preview of teacher recommended educational and otherwise toys & games. Zoomorphs were displayed there and I got to play with them myself. I got all three of my kids a different set each (because they're all interchangable) and I bought a set for each of their cousins for Christmas presents (ages 2 to 8). I am pleased with the product, its quality and I would buy additional sets in the future.

Imagination unlimited
Grandchildren, ages 5 and 7 girls, found these animals to have unlimited imagination potential. Their mother placed a blank paper on the table and the children made a "zoo" with cages drawn in different shapes for each animal, labeled with the made up name for each. Continued interest after many days, with new ideas each time.

A wonderful toy that excercises the imagination of my 4 year ...
A wonderful toy that excercises the imagination of my 4 year old grandson. Great for strengthening his fine motor skills too. My 2 year old grandson also loves them ,he can't manage to put them together but enjoys choosing the pieces for me to put together.

Wonderful toys!
Literally years of fun to be had here! Everyone who sees these stops to play and create. Big kids, little kids, and adults think it is one of the coolest things they've seen. My kids have been playing with these for years and still come back to them repeatedly.

Mr. Potato Head meets the animal kingdom
Petmorphs come in several different sets. However, I think they are now discontinued so get them while you can. These interchangeable parts can be used to create realistic or fantasy animals, serious or funny. The pegs are a bit hard to insert but once in, tend to stay put. I have seen them advertised on pediatric occupational therapy websites as well since they help with fine motor control.
