Excellent tire ... trail & road

I have only 2500 miles on them and the back tire is almost bald. I contacted Continental and they said there is nothing they would do about it. I have been running these type of tires for 30 years and have never had this issue. Usually I get about 10,000 miles. Last time I buy this brand if they don't stand behind their product.

I almost exclusively ride off road on my Tiger 800XC, the terrain is a mix of sand & gravel sections. After the knobs on my Mitas E09 rear tyre (Sand Tyre) started tearing off due to gravel/rocks I switched to the TKC80. Sadly, when you put down the power (6000 RPM +) even the TKC80 gets damaged in gravely terrain. So I have had to change my riding style, by shifting up once I hit the power band at 4000 RPM +, this is preserving the tyre.

I diddnt buy these because I want a tire that will last 15000 miles. I bought them for offroad traction and they have that, however, they have wayyyyy more on road traction then I expected. Love these tires.

Excellent tire on/off road. Life expectancy: about 3K miles on rear one. Not the best tire for rainy conditions but grip is not bad at all on dry pavement
