I am 5'6" and 290 lbs. I want to ride a bike to start losing weight. I have a wide bottom. Not being funny, just stating facts, will it be comfy?

here's the truth...I too was a large girl and when i started this journey 3 years ago I was miserable. almost gave up. this seat was a game changer for me but I also changed the way I ride and this seat helps with that. stay as upright as possible so raise your handlebars so you are not hunching and let your bottom settle into this seat so that your weight is on your "sit bones" and not your "tender parts". I am still tiedof sitting after about 15 miles but not in the pain I was before. I just stop and get off and walk around a bit. I love this seat. good luck and hang in there.

Will this eliminate the pain in the testicals.......?????

It has a short nose so you are not pushing hard against the longer nose of most saddles. Advise you also get some bike riding shorts that give you some needed padding in just the right places. The other benefit of this seat is the size or width which ensures you get the load carrying bones hitting the best part of the seat. It also is springy. Acts like a shark. Doesn’t look to pretty unless you sit on it. Get one.

Does this work for stationary bikes?

Just put the wide saddle seat on my peloton. It seems to be installed correctly but feels wobbly or unstable. Anyone else?
