Should have replaced filter sooner
My Cougar fireplace vacuum developed very poor suction after 8 years of use. I noticed that even after emptying the bucket and cleaning (as best as possible) the two filters, that suction dropped off with the bin only 1/2 full.Before investing in a new vacuum, I decided to replace the original filters with these replacements, and WOW, my vacuum suction was completely restored. After two weeks of use, it still has great suction, and I decided to order a backup set of filters to install as soon as my suction begins to wane.

This is my second purchase of this filter set. The outer filter both times needed replacement because a hole devolved in it. Don’t misunderstand, I consider it to be a good product. I just think the price is to high at $40 per set, and I know I’ll have to purchase it again if I stayed with the Cheetah. So, looking to replace it if I can find a more durable outer filter.
