A great way to find your preference
I’ve been struggling to find variety packs of reeds as a new player and have loved this small sample pack. The reeds are great quality and have performed excellently. With a lot of choices in the pack you can do many different things and play in different styles. Overall I found the Java Red to be the easiest and best sounding as a beginner. Close 2nd was Java Green. Try them all out! You’ll definitely learn your preference.

Good value.
If you don't know what reed will work with your mouthpiece, this is the way to go. I was able to figure out that the ideal reed for my mouthpiece (basic Yamaha 4C soprano) is the V16. Before this, I was endlessly searching reddit/forums for suggestions. It allows you to save your money for a full pack of reeds.

Nice sampler, but expensive
Four stars because they're expensive. But they are great reeds.

Variety is the spice of life
A little pricey for four reeds but being new at playing the soprano , having a choice to pick from is really helpful in deciding which strength I should use.
