Similar to Citric acid
Brings a nice tartness when combined with fruits - enhancing - not lip puckering.

As advertised
It's a powder so it dissolves quickly. I add a pinch to the water when I blanch vegetables in preparation for freezing to help keep the color fresh and inhibit browning.

Convenient
I really like the convenience, a bit acidic for the tummy

Pretentious price for 3 oz
I should have been paying closer attention. Beware the unit price, for 3oz it was 3x that of the 16oz.

Good price
I actually got this product to mix my own film developer. I am sure itโs plenty vitamin-ee, but I never used it for that. Iโm sure itโs decent quality because it did what vitamin C is supposed to do when applying it to black and white film with instant coffee and sodium carbonate. Mostly, the price was good.

Effective as bread dough conditioner
We bought this product to use in baking. It is supposed to help bread dough rise more effectively. Generally, we'll use only a small amount each time, so the fact that the bag is resealable is convenient. We have not noticed any effect on the flavor of the bread, but would probably not expect this to happen in the amount that we typically use. Having purchased the product in early September 2019, the expiration date was listed as February 2020. However, this probably refers more to the guaranteed potency of the vitamin C as a supplement, rather than its effectiveness as a baking aid. It is also convenient that the product is sold in smaller bags as well as larger.
