Perfect case replacement for 2 car keys. Save me hundreds of dollars at a key person. I did need to use the silicone insert for the inside of the keys from my original set. The ones that came with this did not fit perfectly.

I bought it to use the shell , because I broke mine good one I put my guts inside the new one . Works great!

Made cheaper than the original. First one had the bottom connector of the battery come off, and the little slide on the back part would get stuck so it wouldn't stay on. I got an exchange for this. Same problem. I ended up gluing the battery connector in and using the back from the original Ford piece. Return instructions are a joke. UPS was supposed to come pick it up. They never called or showed up with a mailing label. I tried bringing it into a UPS store, but they couldn't generate a mailing label. Amazon doesn't offer any other way to ship it back. This is fulfilled by Amazon, and seller says I need to go through Amazon. Called customer service. I was told the first time I called that I would not be charged since it was their error. However I was charged a second time. I've asked for calls 3 times after I was charged. First time I was hung up on before I got anyone. Second time I was disconnected while I was trying to explain. The third time I was transferred to a supervisor who disconnected me. I was sent an email asking how service was, and despite saying nothing was resolved and I was repeatedly disconnected, they don't bother responding.

This was exactly what I needed: a replacement shell for the internal parts of my key fob for a 2016 Ford explore. The electrical components on my key fob worked fine, but the original shell was broken. It is very easy to swap out the internal electrical parts. However, my experience with similar to with many other reviews stated, which is that the back of the key fob cover that came with the replacement, did not fit the front replacement. However, the original back of my Ford key fob fit perfectly. I don’t know why that’s the case and I think it is strange.So, as long as the back of your key fob is in good shape, this will work fine.

Fits like the original case. There is a sticker on the bag that says you may need to change the battery type.I work for a Lincoln dealer and know these remotes well. Deal with them daily ! So be sure to remove the battery spacer/insulator and use it in the new case.If not the batteries will not make the proper flow of power.Basically the batteries should not be connected to each other.I see this all the time people change their batteries and throw out the white spacer.The remote will not function like that.So I cut a piece of heavy plastic bag to the same diameter as the battery and that will fix the issue.

Meh. Does it work...yeah, kinda. Is it like the original, NO! I'll explain - The fit is basic and forced, the main nibs that hold the key loop on the plastic shell are completely absent, the original "key" does not clip into the designed spot, the case barely fits together and the Ford logo is no longer there. In short, a cheap Chinese knock-off...go figure. I transplanted the electronics (which fit well), key and upper key ring hard point that has the nibs. I would not recommend using the key loop it comes with as it has no secure attachment. In all...it's about 50% usable but does.... barely...meet my needs and so I'll keep it. I'll also be looking for a better quality replacement. Good luck!
