Mogami RCA-RCA 06 Mono RCA 6 feet

Great Product! Looks like a small cable in terms of girth but sounds mighty fine. I use it to connect a powered speaker to my preamp to replace a cable that was cut. Now I will have to buy another Mogami cable to replace my other cable because the Mogami sounds so much better it creates an imbalance because the other cable I have (not a Mogami cable) is inferior.

I'm not a believer in cables making a difference. What I do believe, is the connections make the difference. I had double insulated AudioQuest cables before this purchase, and had an audible hiss coming off the turntable. Replaced them, the turntable is now dead silence. I didn't experience any change in tone, sharpness, clarity, as anticipated. The removal of hiss I've never kicked on any of my prior set ups, has made me a believer. The quality of construction is evident in these cables. I highly recommend for the hifi system on a budget. These cables made a substantial difference in the sound quality of my surround sound system. I've used this brand guitar cables for a long time and remember what a difference it made when I plugged in through one of them, so I had an idea what I was in for. I waited until a friend came over so I had a witness, and as soon as I swapped out my other cable and plugged these in my friend said wow, that is a very noticeable difference and agreed that it sounded more open, transparent, and detailed. I have commercial level home recording equipment, so I tend to not put as much energy into my home system. I've had this system for a decade and it is almost like I got a massive upgrade to a component. Made me wanna listen to a bunch of albums over again to hear them this way. If people try to tell you that the cable doesn't matter, they are either hard of hearing or want to feel good about being cheap. These things should last you a lifetime so they are worth the one time purchase to get the most out of your system.

There's nothing wrong with these cables. They do absolutely adequate work, but they have a ton of competition from other terrific copper cables at half the price.

These RCA patch cables were a lot thinner than expected. They're literally half the girth compared to my other audio patch cables from other brands and even compared to other Mogami cables. This thinness however probably due to the short length of the cable didn't seem to matter because I have excellent sound and no noise interference. I use these to connect my Dual CS168Q turntable to my Vincent Audio SA-32 preamplifier and it working great. I actually like the thinner cables, as they're sticking out of the back of my turntable and are very visible. Their smaller size makes them look a bit more elegant. Also due to their smaller size they're lighter and more flexible, which helps with preventing vibrations. Over the years I have pretty much standardized on Mogami Gold cables. While they're expensive, and (according to some) have a "sound", they're dead quiet (preventing electromagnetic interference) which is my #1 top priority. Recommended!

These have no sound of their own, in my experience, which is exactly what you want from a cable. I have dropped these into multiple systems and each time the result has been increased clarity. linearity and better imaging. The only cable I trust - these cables allow the true sound of connected equipment to be able to be heard. That makes them well worth the price, which is actually amazingly inexpensive compared to some high end audiophile cables. I have put these in systems of people who did not believe cables could make much of a difference in their systems, just dropped them in without comment, and in every case within minutes of listening they wanted a pair.

I was very sceptical when I received them. Once plugged in. Wow! Sound more realistic than my silver ones with as much clarity and detail.

When connecting this cable to my system, I discovered that signal did not always get through. When there is no signal, I have to waggle the cable/connector to make it works but this is a hit and miss. I suspected that there was a quality issue with the cable. I tried to remove the RCA covers and noted that the ground wire on one of the connectors was not properly terminated, i.e. the wire was barely connected to the side of the plug. I tried to request for a refund for a defective product but was surprised to learn that the seller Studio Economik required me to pay for the return shipping, which is against the industry norm as far as I understand. So I ended up re-soldered the ground connection point since it was not a difficult fix. I first connected it between my network streamer and the receiver and found that it sounded thin and dry even after running it for a few hours. However, when I used it to output digital source in my main 2-channel system, the sound became much balanced and open. I think the cable may be system dependent but would still recommend it. Although I would avoid ordering it from Studio Economik unless you are prepared to pay for the return shipping even if you received a lemon. Please also note that they will charge you restocking fee in case the product does not work for you and you want to return it. I would have given a higher rating if not for my unpleasant shopping experience with the seller.
