is it gasoline resistant?

Nitrile is very resilient to gasoline I bought mine for diesel because it's even more caustic then gasoline. Hope this helps

No. I don't think it will work for that.

will it withstand temps up to 212 deg F?

I think it would be fine at that temp. Says on the tube curable with heat. I use it on marine lower units and it seals perfectly with no leaks. I never have cured it with heat and it sets up pretty hard.
