This is the second copy of this book that I purchased. I used the first copy so much that I wore out some of the pages. I’ll be more careful this time since I love this book.

Printed on high quality, easy to read, made to last. The organization of all the stitches in colorful swatches along with the pattern of stitches is great and very helpful in expanding your skill set. Plenty of Afghans to choose from for any level and they are marked accordingly. The Big Block Sampler in particular has helped me to expand and regain skills from 35 years ago as a returning kniter. Plan to make 3 or 4 others in the intermediate range ( 2 as gifts)!

Back in early April, I fell (or flew) down the staircase in my home and shattered my left ankle with a high impact triple compound fracture. I was lucky that there happened to be a specialist in that sort of injury in a nearby hospital because otherwise, I could have had to suffer an amputation. I am still in a boot with a cane or walker going through physical therapy, but at least he didn't have to amputate. I've been crochet and knitting presents for my husband's family feverishly in my extended down time. This book has given me new stitches and ideas to use and has literally saved me throughout this unpleasant obstacle in my life!

This book is perfect for anyone wishing to start knitting blankets and throws. There are so many patterns to choose from and the instructions are superb.

Love the individual samples so I can create my own patterns for prayer shawls, lap blankets or an afghan. This would be good for beginners as well as advanced those in between to learn new stitches on smaller scale i.e. washcloth size to test your skills.

This book was everything I had hoped for. It has very easy to more challenging patterns, and is quite open ended-many possibilities. It is a delight to peruse, and I have begun a blanket. I know I will use it again and again.

There are so many mistakes in this book that some of the patterns are impossible to do. If u are not an experienced knitter you would not be able to complete any patterns I really don't know how this book ever got published!

I need it all time

This was very pricey IMHO but my wife really wanted it, after taking it out of the library multiple times..
