Very bright, very white
I just bought a 2019 Tacoma and one of the first things I noticed was the rather dim and yellow looking cab lighting. Sometimes I just don't get Toyota... no power seats, drum brakes, no LED cab lighting... Oh well, that's what aftermarket is for. So I came across a link for this lighting package while YouTubing to see just how difficult swapping the cab bulbs would be - hint: not difficult at all. The package came with 12 bulbs. 2 for each vanity mirror (4 total), 2 map lights (up to 6 for those who aren't mathematically inclined), a dome light, two for the reverse lights, and two for the license plate lights. Now that adds up to 11... But you said there were 12! There were. There is a larger version of the dome light that I have no clue where it goes. I'm wondering if maybe some gen3 Tacos take a different size dome light bulb? I don't know. I do know that all of the bulbs worked wonderfully! The light is so much brighter than stock, and it's a crisp white light, not that dingy yellow that looks like it belongs in a cheap 70's buddy cop flick. There weren't any instructions but installing them is fairly intuitive. Search for "your vehicle year and model" "replace <whatever light you are trying to replace>" on YouTube. As for the 2019 Tacoma, I used a small flat-blade screwdriver, a small pair of needle-nose pliers, a ratchet, and a 10mm socket. All told, took me about 30 minutes to install each and every bulb (except for that odd dome light bulb that didn't fit anywhere).

Great and simple upgrade for my 2017 Tacoma
These worked great! Easy to install (the only tools you need are a small flathead screwdriver for the interior lights and a 10mm socket or wrench for the taillights). With that being said, the front dome lights in my 2017 Tacoma were a little snug to get out, but using the screwdriver gently to help pry them out worked great, as it's a small space to try and get both of my fingers in there (that's what she said). It totally changed the interior of the truck, which I love. I can't own a car without changing the interior yellow lights to white LEDs. The backup lights are awesome! So much brighter at night now. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Simple quick easy and bright!
I've never had leds so how they compare to some higher end ones or something idk but I'm very pleased with mine I feel they're super bright and clear. They dim out and on well. It's exactly what I was after for the price I would definitely recommend. Small plastic case I put my old bulbs back in for storage which I appreciated VS the plastic bag and short sweet simple instructions made install a breeze for me.

Bright and easy install
The lights are nice and bright compared to the dull OEM bulbs. Everything was great except having a faulty bulb that does not work. Passenger side is dim since the top bulb does not work.

Overhead Dome Light Was Difficult To Install
I have a 2017 Tacoma. All the lights go in easily, except two once you figure out how to remove the lenses. I spent a several hours trying to reinstall the license plate socket back into the lens housings. They came out with a little difficulty but trying to get your hand up under the bumper to reach, insert and turn the socket was impossible. When you need help, go to YouTube. I had approached the license plate lights from the wrong side. Video showed how to remove the lens housings. They pop out with a little prying in the right place. 15 minutes. The video made changing the backup lights a breeze. These lights are bright white lights. For those of you with a double cab, you can see in your back seat. There was another problem that made the dome light bulb a little hard to install. The bulb is cone shape on each end. The tips go into holes on spring loaded flat tangs. The spring action is very stiff. The space is small. You will fight with getting the points into the holes. Using needle nose pliers or any other grasping tool will deform the bulbs contacts. Incredibly soft metal. The two license plate lights provide more light than the old backup lights.

2017 Tacoma SR5 approved
I just got done installing these lights. It was just as easy as they say. A small pen sized flat head screwdriver and a 10mm socket will work perfect. Like others have said, there is an extra dome light bulb, in my case the shorter bulb was the one I used. For the map lights the best way to do it is to pull the whole console down, unscrew the light holders and replace them. At first I tried to pull them out without pulling the console down but it’s pretty difficult and not worth it, the console comes down quite easy, work the clips out by hand all the way around it. The most difficult lights were the license plate lights, popping off the lenses proved to not work easily so I instead reached up under the bumper and twisted out the fixture. I would recommend doing the passenger side first since there’s less wiring in the way it’s easier to understand how it works. All in all they look great and make the vehicle look and feel nicer. I definitely would recommend this cheap and easy upgrade.

Let there be light
I was looking for some upgrades to do to my 2013 Tacoma and I saw these. The price was good and said easy to install. I watched a couple of videos and sure enough it was easy. I only took a picture of the map light but you can tell the difference and all the others are the same way with the original lights looking darker. Now when I open the door at night there is plenty of light. As long as they hold up I am very pleased.

Inexpensive Solid LED Upgrades
I used the map lights along with the dome light and backup lights. Super impressed with the brightness inside the cabin. Since the lights are so bright the dome light illuminates the entire cabin... Backup lights are a major upgrade and give better visibility when backing up. I did NOT use the vanity mirror lights since I hardly use them and the stock lights are ok. I have the upgrade in case they burn out. Also, the license plate lights are super bright. Hopefully these last a long time.
