NuVein Sheer Compression Stockings for Women, 15-20 mmHg Support, 20 Denier, Thigh High, Closed Toe

I am male and have worn compression stockings for more than 5 years. I have tried many brands, many styles (thigh - hi, panty hose, knee high), several weights (8-15, 15-20, even 20-30). So I think I kind of know what I am talking about. I use them because I have problems with lower leg swelling.Now about NuVein thigh-hi.. These are the best I have found at any price. They stay up. They are comfortable. They last a long time if you hand wash them I typically get 30 days or more of wear from each pair. They are not easy to put on if you are thinking regular hose, but then they would not be compression hose either. They are easy to put on if you compare them to other compression hose. I have found the sizing to be right but be sure that the thigh measurement is within the specified range if you want them to stay up (that is with any compression sock). Appearance? They are compression socks.

I decided to move up from Light to Moderate support hose. These stockings certainly relieve swelling, from feet to knees, but especially in the ankles. The price is very reasonable too. However, be warned! The stockings are extremely difficult to get on. Perhaps I haven't got the nack yet, but it's a real struggle, and I ended up, cutting off the toes, which helped a bit. The Light support stockings are so easy to get on, so I wasn't expecting this. (I wouldn't even try to get on a pair of Firm Support!) To be fair, I'm sure any brand of Moderate support hose would be difficult, speaking for myself. Perhaps other ladies don't have this issue, so I will try to improve my technique, because it's definitely worth it. My legs feel so much better.

This isn’t really compression socks. Like reflective pantyhose but without much stretch. They feel like they would rip easily so if you need the compression they most likely rip regardless. I received mine ripped and wouldn’t recommend this product. Way better options on the market for compression that don’t rip by touching them.
