These reviews do not lie... I am IN LOVE with this tanning lotion. 1. As everyone has said, yes, it applies like an actual lotion. It's light, easy to spread, & soaks into the skin quickly. Plus, it leaves the skin feeling hydrated & near matte- no sticky or greasy residue like with other lotions. 2. I'd say I'm a person who is exactly between someone who easily tans and someone who easily burns. Getting that first bit of base tan is always hardest for me. I can burn easily during that period. With that being said, I used this lotion today in a tanning bed for 15 mins (my very first session in a long, long time), and I'm already loving my color! I can already tell that I'm darker after just one time in the bed using this lotion! My chest might have gotten a bit red, as it always does when tanning for the first few times, but other than that I have skipped the dreaded sunburn phase already! I can't wait to build upon it! 3. The value... are you serious? What an amazing price! Waaaaaaaaay cheaper than you'll find in the salons! 4. The scent isn't bad, but it's a bit too fruity for my taste. It's sweet smelling, which is not something I favor. But it's definitely not bad smelling, and for that I am grateful. 5. If you're wary about buying a lotion with a built in bronzer, don't be! I was too! But it's so subtle that there aren't any streaks or mistakes. It's really foolproof! ...so stop reading this & just buy it already! (Or don't... maybe it won't ever run out of stock and the price will stay low that way 😉)

I LOVE this lotion! I've tried lots of different lotions for tanning with fair skin and this so far has given be the BEST color. I also enjoy the smell, I understand that's a personal opinion. I started out with lotions that were too harsh for my skin and left me super red after tanning in a bed for 6 minutes!!! This has been awesome. I switch it out with my Belle (mostly because I want to save the Australian Gold for my cruise) and it has given me amazing results. **I have very fair skin. NEVER IN MY LIFE have I EVER been tan and now I have a beautiful golden base tan to take with me to Florida! I was so worried about burning but spent a good month looking for a lotion that kept me from burning in a bed. This stuff has given me the results I want and since it is good for outdoor tanning as well, I will be taking it on my cruise with me to use then also. If you have fair skin and are looking for a good lotion that will help you get good color without burning first, I HIGHLY recommend this product ANY day. :)

I absolutely love this tanning lotion! I first bought it over 10 years ago to use in a tanning bed, but now I mainly use it outside. I’ll apply this, tan in the sun for about 15–20 minutes, and then put on a sun block with SPF 30. It gives me a beautiful, even tan every time without burning. I’ve been repurchasing it for years and definitely recommend it!

I’ve been using this lotion for outdoors for several years. I love it! It works great gives you a nice brown color. There is ZERO sun protection so you should apply that first.

I finally put my foot down and said enough is enough, it’s time to get tan! After doing a lot of research, I found this product and decided to give it a shot. I purchased this product for indoor tanning (don’t judge me) so I could achieve a base tan before my Caribbean vacation. After 2 short tanning sessions I started seeing results! I was able to achieve an adorable golden glow before it was time to fly away. Typically, I am suckered into buying lotions from the tanning salon, however I did my research and saved tons of money with this purchase. Who wants to spend $80 on lotion when you can spend less than $20 for the same quality product! Plus, I personally think this had a much more pleasant smell than other “high end” lotions. As a Bronzer: I usually avoid using lotions with bronzer because I don't have the patience to correct streaking and all that jazz. I actually accidentally bought this, not realizing it had a bronzer in it, but I wasn't disappointed. The bronzing action is on the light side, so if you're already dark, it isn't going to make a noticeable difference on your skin, but because it's light, it is also forgiving. When I started using this, I was pasty and the bronzer showed up, giving my skin a sunkissed look without it looking fake or uneven. As a Tanning Lotion: It's mediocre. For the price, it is great, but there are certainly better lotions out there. Of course, if you are looking at buying this, you're probably more concerned with saving money than getting a super deep tan. This is my second Australian Gold tanning product, and I've almost finished the bottle. I used this when I was working on my base tan, and it was great for that purpose, but I've kind of plateaued now and this lotion isn't doing anything to help me out now. Bottom Line: If you are super pale and trying to get a base tan going with a little instant color action, this is great, and if you really don't want the bronzer, AG also has an accelerator that is safe for indoor and outdoor use that is pretty much the same thing without the bronzer. If you already have a base tan, I suggest going with something with a little more "oomph" like a tingling lotion or one with an intensifier (I used AG's intensifier last time I tanned and it definitely did the job).

Just received in the mail, excited to try it out. Packaging is cute, looks just as pictured! Smells good (could be better) but it’ll do. Kind of smells like fruity pebbles? Typical tanning lotion scent. Brown lotion. **I’ll be back with updates
