Sensitivity adjustment is not working for me. I follow the instructions, but when I press the button I hear the same 3 pitches.

Do this for step one: hold the unlock button for 6 seconds. In that 6 seconds you'll see the blue light around the lock symbol come on and go off then come back on (you'll also hear some tones but they're not important). It's when the blue light some back on at 6 seconds that you're in business. You can now follow instructions 2 thru 4. That's it.

Is the remote water waterproof???

We bougt the arlam to use indoors. It does say on the box that it is waterproof. Since it is a bike alarm that makes sense.

Will this keep the dogs away when I go fir a walk???

I don’t know if that would work or not. It is very loud and May startle the dog, don’t think it will chase a very aggressive dog away though.

could it be used to prevent catalytic converter thefts?

Not sure unless you just put it on the car in general then it may or may not work for that I keep it on my e-bike works perfectly for that.
