Wild Horses (The Montana Hamiltons) Mass Market Paperback – February 24, 2015

Having just finished reading this book, my heart is still in my throat over all that went on throughout this story. Wow! I loved it! This is Book 1 of the Montana Hamiltons but by the time I finished, I felt I read more than one book. There is suspense, family dynamics at its best/worst, murder, and oh yes, blackmail plus romance. You put all that in a book and you have a wonderful time reading long hours and into the night. B. J. Daniels can really put a book together that covers all sorts of twists and turns. Senator Buckmaster Hamilton, six daughters and wife all live on or about the ranch. The Senator has aspirations to run for President so everyone tries to put their best face before the cameras. I laughed at some of the things in the book and felt sad over other situations. I highly recommend this book as it is great and the mystery is exciting.

There was a lot that went on in this book. You had a lot of stories branching off from the main plot. It almost read like a soup opera.Livie, and her fiancé had gotten into a fight. Livie took off, and got stranded in a snow storm. The person that saved her that night drugged her. When Livie found out she was pregnant, she was not sure who the father was. What was worse, the guy was also blackmailing her.Livie's mother Sara has been dead for 22 years. Her car went over a bridge, but the body was never found. She is back, but with no memory. Her last memory was giving birth to her twins. Now she just wants to see her babies. She had 6 kids. She has a hard time dealing with the fact her babies are grown, and she missed it. Where has she been for the past 22 years?There was so much more that went on this book. This is just one you will have to read. It was a good book. At times it was hard to keep up with. It had suspense, a mystery to it, romance, a crazy ex lover, a stalker, and a mother that came back from the dead.... I'm sure I'm missing something. Like I said a lot went on in this book.

I loved it! I can't wait for the next book out in July 2015! B.J. Daniels has again written a great novel! I was so happy to find out it revolved back to her previous novels set in Montana. Was great to find out the truth about certain things from her previous story! I purchase this book today and could not stop reading until the end. Ms. Daniels kept the suspense going until the end and left us hanging for the next great novel! She scores 5 stars from me! Bless you Ms. Daniels and please keep on writing!

This is a great story about money, love, betrayal, greed and politics. There are to many twists and turns in this one to get into all of them but it is a great book. It keeps you in suspense and just when you think you might have it figured out something happens to completely surprise you. There are multiple plots and I think it is a great book. I now plan to read the rest of the series. Well done, I loved this book.

This author, like several others I have tried recently, and even some I have read for years, has taken to writing three or four stories in the same book, jumping from story to story, chapter by chapter. I hate the writing style. All the stories seem to have great potential, but damn, it just becomes too much work to read the writing.

This is a good romantic suspense story written by B. J. Daniels. She is a good writer and I always enjoy her books.

B.J. is one of my all-time favorite authors. I love her writing and can never pace myself. When one of her books comes out, I have to get it and I have to read it - immediately. Sadly, then, I end up waiting breathlessly for the next book. She has aced her craft over the years since I first started following her back - I forget how many years ago. She develops believable characters - you fall in love with the good ones, you want to kill of the bad ones. I can't decide what I like best - her characters, her plots or her scenes. All three are definite winners with me. I read all of her books with a map of Montana handy, looking to see where we are this story. The pictures she posts on her Facebook page often show her Montana and I love seeing every one, especially the Crazy Mountains. Now I'm waiting for the next book in this series.

Great read

A wonderful romance story but done so cleverly by involving several stories rolled into the one book. I was addicted from the start to the end. Can't wait to read another by this author.

Thoroughly enjoyed the book the story line kept me interested and wanting to read more. Some things are a bit stretched but that is books for you, came to the end a straight away brought the next in the series to find out more.
