Will this remote work on Mercedes Benz 12v?

Hello, please make sure that the purchased part has the same appearance as the original part, model RX23 12V 7-pin single-sided socket

Will the remote that came with the Jeep work with the weelye replacement box

Button color matters! Look on the control unit (the black box) and make sure there is or is not a sticker that says FCCE. The FCCE units have a remote that matches and the remote will say FCC on the back, plus it will have red buttons. It is important that this matches. I learned this the hard way this week. The ones with no FCCE sticker will have a remote with white buttons, like pictured. The wrong remote will act like it pairs up but will not control anything. That said, it seems the control units will allow the car to work manually regardless, just no parent remote and potentially no max speed control. This item comes as a pair, so if your control box looks like this one it will work regardless what you had before, you just may not be able to use your old remote. This is the situation I am in.

How can you correct the remote? The right arrow steers left and left arrow steers right... hmm...

This will take some wiring work. The small set of two wires that plug in at the far corner (upper right of the main picture) control the steering motor. You will need to cut and splice or see if you can remove the contactors from the connector and reverse them. You just need to reverse the wires.
