tight but can make it work
it was very tight, and did not fit the mount. the comments really helped. my friend filed it a little inside and exchanged the metal ring inside for the original one. It works great now, it is tight, holds well, and I can put it on and off if needed. ( i think it is ridiculous that the part is so off, imagine if they make parts with similar precision for plumbing, a little bigger, a little smaller, who cares :D )

These Garmin mounts are a perfect fit. They are well made and i have no issues with them. They hold my Garmin in what ever position i place it in and have a large range of adjust ability.

Fast Shipping - But tricky to install
We ordered this product to replace the OEM Garmin adapter for the weighted "bean bag" type holder that sits on the dash board. The package arrived in 2 days so probelm there at all! The diffculty was when we tried to attach the ball of the holder and found that this new bracket was too small. After leaning on it with all his weight even my husband couldn't get the piece to snap into place. We ended up coating the 2 pieces with a bit of candle wax and they finally snapped in place with a lot of effort. Now they fit so tight that it is difficult to swivel the GPS unit. Maybe over time the fit/swivel will loosen up.

Perfect
Worked perfect. Easy fit to replace the bracket cradle mount for my Garmin. Very happy there is extra incase it wears out. I have to say the original bracket lasted almost 4 years.
