Where are these made?

They are made in China. Very cheaply made. Its not even close to my snap-on test lights. Not even heavy duty like they say. I used mine for the first time and it failed.

will this work on 24 volt furnace testing thermostat

I'm pretty sure it will I don't think 24 volts will burn out the bulb. Use it on DC only AC might be too high of a voltage for the bulb. 24 volts is DC I think there are even some 48 volt DC circuits. I would use it on those too

Is it safe to use on electronics?

Yes. As long as they are 15VDC and below
