Compact and Easy Setup Plus Reliable Photo Upload NEEDS GOOD BATTERIES
This camera was priced right for a newcomer. I had an older trail cam with standard SD card only image storage but I wanted one with cell tower connect, so I considered the reviews and went for it. It was pretty easy to set up including registering for the SIM card connection, and was working in 15 minutes. They warn you that setting it for immediate upload of pics will use the battery up quickly, but there is a settings menu in the phone app to check the signal and battery levels so you can decide which is working best for you. Using it for tracking game, you may be okay with once or twice a day uploads (the images are stored on the SD card first) but if you are using it for security the instant upload is what you want. It took more than 160 pics in 3 weeks and the 8 AA batteries are still at about 80%. There are solar powering adapters available to buy also.Avoid aiming at at areas where shadows will move with the wind, as even on Low sensitivity it was snapping pics.I needed it to back up existing wifi security cameras in case of a power or internet loss while away on vacation, but now that I am home I will move it to a place on my property where critters have been making use of a trail. You get a free month of the paid subscription level ($10 a month), and after that you get the free default level of 100 pics a month.UPDATE I had contacted tech support (no problem there) and they warned me using less than top line batteries was the cause of some of my problems. I put Rayovacs in there, they leaked and now my camera is shot.

there are better out there
Picture quality is poor. Response time is poor. Cell reception is poor. I bought this and a Reveal brand camera. during setup, you cant see what you are aiming at until the camera trips. Then you might not get the picture sent to you, or it shows up the next day. (The Reveal brand if cameras is much better.) I contacted support for some tips and they would not give me any tips to improve performance unless I was holding the camera while talking to them. That was quite unreasonable. My cameras are hundreds of miles away.

If you have cell service it's a great camera
The key to this camera is to have good cell service where the camera is stationed. if you dont have service where you hunt you might want to get a regular teail camera and not a cellular camera. The camera is very good, the pics on the sd card are crisp and clear, the pics sent to my phone not as good but good enough to tell what your looking at , to count points and so on. Beats going up every couple of weeks to check your camera and spooking game in the process. The app for the camera not as good as I had hoped. It has some glitches but after using it over the past few months I found a way to work around the glitchesThe battery life is very good if you set your camera to send pictures once a week. If you set it on instant transfer every time it takes a picture it kills your batteries quick. I had it set on instant and in 6 days my batteries were down to 60% weeks my normal alkaline batteries. I changed it to once a day and 2 weeks later the batteries were down to 50%. So once a day it would send me all the pics it took that day. So it sends one text instead of 50 saving battery life.I switched to Energizer lithium ultra and have had it on instant now for a week and still at 99 percent. So good batteries are a must.Overall I'm very pleased with my camera and will be buying more.Update 09/14/2019 I still like the cameras, but the app really needs work, the battery life meter does not work, after 3 weeks out in the field will say 100% life and in reality it is totally dead. I have 2 cameras the micro and the evo, both are great but both have the same battery meter problem. I'm still looking to get another one hoping they improve the app.

Used to track a lost cat
I bought two of these to track a cat that was ejected from the undercarriage of my car. I used this to monitor a humane trap remotely. This did excellent in allowing me to keep 24/7 coverage on a remote trap. I literally put the camera on top of the trap, it alerted me generously when an animal was trapped. I freed cats, skunks and watched mice, birds and chipmunks eat the bait. I am still in pursuit of my cat, but these are super helpful in the endeavor.

The insiders club is worthless
Bought the camera. Easy setup. However you have limited pictures unless you “buy up” for the insiders club $99 a year. Not receiving pictures because I am still on the basic plan and can’t get technical support. Don’t waste your money

Good product for the money
I like the product but the monitoring can get quite $ if you have several cameras. Wish they had a discount for multiple cameras. Also no coupons or discount were given to replace cameras when 3G cameras became obsolete.
