Nice
It’s perfect. I use it for while I’m searching buildings. It attaches my helmet, just as easy as NVGs do my only issue is is the light on the mount is loose and it’s a pain to try and tighten

The weaknesses are strengths
I was looking up the waterproof qualities of the light, deciding if it was appropriate for water rescue (it isn't, not enough water resistance), and noticed a lot of comments about it not being reliably mounted. Just wanted to add my 2 cents on that. This is a great light for the appropriate use BECAUSE it breaks away easily. Everything that isn't directly protecting your health on a helmet should absolutely break away easily. The plastic is flimsy, and it should be. I have backup lights if something happens, but I feel more comfortable knowing a panicked subject can't control me with this, and a glancing falling rock strike's energy will break the plastic and not transfer all the force into me. I have a sturdier helmet mounted light as a backup, but this is perfect for general use. Right tool for the right job!

Great product but needs improvement
The usefulness of this product goes beyond saying that it has saved me time by simply snapping it in to my base plate instead of having to adjust a headband to fit my Kevlar. At the same time the base of the plate that attaches to said helmet doesn’t quite fit my base plate without just a tiny bit of wiggle, however when it can fit just perfectly it works amazingly. The only flaw I would say for this product is that it’s a chargeable item only and there’s no option for a replaceable battery option instead. In the field there’s hardly ever a chance you will be able to charge this unless you packed some power banks

Good light
This worked out great with the DLP Bump Helmet. Very bright on all settings. Just what I was looking for. I do recommend it.

Doesn’t fit, cheaply made
Got this for my brother’s airsoft helmet assuming it would at least fit in the helmet and light up based on other reviews, but wouldn’t even go in the mount. The plastic is extremely cheap and brittle and it started crumbling when I attempted to put it in his helmet. Returning ASAP

very small, very bright, very cheaply made
the pros: this NVM lamp is very small , and packs a huge punch with its brightness! It has two visible light setting you can adjust with the small power switch on top of the lamp. one click for full , two for half and three for ful IR, four for flashing IR. cons: the silicon recharging port cover is very flimsy and I fear it will become detached as it is used over time. but the port is located on the bottom of the amp, so it may not get wet as easily there. the case is made of very cheap plastic , it will probably crack in the cold if it is knocked against something. but for $29.00 , I cant complain too much and I will use this until it is no longer functioning.

Meh
It mounts okay, but moves around too much. If you tighten down the screws to keep it in place, then it's near impossible to affix the mount. It's also annoying that you can't just turn it on and off, and have it remember your last settings. Instead, you have to always cycle through all the options to turn it off again. It goes from the brightest option, to dimmer, to solid red, to flashing red, and then to off. So always having to click it four times to turn it off. Why? Very poor design. Also, you have to use their rechargeable battery, and there is no option to swap in either AAA alkaline, nor AAA rechargeable batteries. This is a problem since the battery may run out of power while my search and rescue team is operating in the field on a mission to save some child lost in the woods. I can't tell the kid to wait several hours while I go back to base camp and charge my light, and I can't operate in the dark, so that means I need other lights with me, so what's the point of having this light then? Not impressed with this light at all. Keep looking for a better option.
