Selenium is found in the soil and trace amounts are present in fresh water. It’s necessary for good immune system function and particularly for good thyroid function.RDA is set at 70ug so as these white hardshell capsules each offer 200ug, they give you three times the RDA so it’s probably not necessary to take one every day.These encapsulations from Pure are not the cheapest you can buy but are very good and manufactured to a high standard. Some users claim they ‘smell bad’, but I have to say that although I have a good sense of smell, I’ve never noticed that.
