Cal 7 Blank Skateboard Deck with Grip Tape | 7.75, 8.0, 8.25 and 8.5 Inch | Maple Board for Skating

This would be a great skate for deck for any practicing skateboarder. Nobody is going to make fun of your kid at the skate park for having this deck. PROS: – Very reasonably priced – the Red looks awesome - Received it two days faster than Amazon estimated – looks like all the other pro blanks I’ve ever bought CONS: – Why couldn’t they just have installed the grip tape for you. -When I bought this it wasn’t available with fast shipping through prime - the grip tape is folded as it is packed and that causes it to pull away from the paper when it is unfolded. It is probably not a big deal if you intend to install it right away but otherwise it is gonna get dust/dirt on the sticky side. See photo how tape has pulled away from paper. Even though you have to install the grip tape on your own it’s manageable with only a box cutter for tools. After watching a single YouTube video you can do it. I would RECOMMENDED this and WOULD buy it again.

Been an avid skater for 21 years and started relying on buying blank decks to save money. These cal 7 boards are amazing. The snap and pop you get from your Ollie is incredible. Grip tape came with it which was a huge bonus. I’ve ordered from some places where’s the grip tape comes slightly bent or folded. This sheet came straight as a ruler. Will be ordering more from this dealer as it came super fast, faster then expected. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience.

It’s a solid board, it does have some pop to it but not to wear you can do insanely high ollies or anything. I’m an beginner/intermediate skater and this board has been #1 in my collection so far. Another great thing, I’m a plus size skater and with the help of my risers this board has carried my weight flawlessly for 9 months and counting. It’s a great choice. The only down side is that the grip is kinda wacky, it’s got a really high grit at first but dulled down so quickly. I’d buy a separate cheap griptape if you want tight grip. Besides that it’s spectacular!

So I bought this as a second board for myself in case my current board breaks. But my girlfriend is actually using this board now because she likes it better than the long board we got her awhile back, a Sector 8. We put street wheels on it and she loves it. She's very new at skateboarding so it's a win!

I know a lot of people have a lot of reasons not to purchase a blank deck. I’m not saying anyone is wrong. All I know is of the 4 decks I own from other major board companies this one has the best shape, pop and control of any of them. For the price I will definitely be buying more of these.

Packaged great, product was flawless. I purchased it and applied a vinyl design I made for my step-son. He does skate and I made it for him to use. Covered the design with resin. Will definitely buy again to make more! 😊

Like the title says, the wood literally fell apart. Like the glue didn't hold the pieces of thin ply wood pieces together. I ordered two in the past and they held up fine but after this last one started coming apart after an HOUR of skating, I should have learned my lesson but I was dumb enough to give them another chance. To make it even worse I only weigh 155 pounds. And even worse than that, they aren't even worth the time or shipping cost to get a refund. Ruined my skate session twice now 😡😡😡 I attached a picture and I would show you the other side.... but it snapped in half

For a cheap replacement deck, this is great. I had no problems getting the grip tape on-- feels high quality. I'm dinging it one star because I ordered red and it showed up pink. That being said, this was just to replace a broken deck on an old setup for my kids to ride while I ride my nice deck and it does the trick. I was able to do some tricks on it as well and it feels sturdy enough.
