1/700 Ship Next Series No.01 Japanese Navy Battleship Yamato

This is a great model kit that beyond my expectation. It looks great even without any painting.

Well，this model take some time to build, but you need to be careful because some parts might be easy to break. Didn't use much of stickers except the flags and other,but I think the paint really makes it shine.I paint it while I'm building it. I use some Metallic Gold Gundam Marker to detail some parts and use strings for some wire. All in all, it looks fabulous!

I collect ships, but do not build them.

All instructions are in Japanese! Nothing in English. So stupid, I will be returning this model. The model itself is a work of art, too bad I don't read Japanese... So I got a email from Smileandfun: "We checked the product page, but as described in the Q & A, the instructions for this product are in Japanese." This is totally incorrect. Nothing on the page talks about instruction being only in Japanese, no English. BTW U did find this buried in the comment section toward that last remarks. No problem.

Product all there but I thought it was already built but it's a model I have to build

i was very excited about this model and was just about to start building when i looked over my pieces and noticed that the sides of the hull were missing i have checked all the little bags just to make sure i wasnt stupid and did not find them other wise this would probably be a good model

Was my 3rd plastic model but was superve than last two. it was also my first yamato model. It was easy to assemble and it did not need to be painted because it was made of coloured plastic.

Great, great and great. Delivery is so fast. Will buy other model from them again.

Un modello spettacolarmente accurato e già ottimo così com'è della corazzata Nave "Yamato" e della Fujimi, anche se in scala 1:700, dotato anche di ottime decalcomanie, nonchè di plastica diversamente colorata nei vari pezzi, che, ad assemblaggio concluso, portano ad un modello che non ha bisogno di verniciatura, se non che in alcuni particolari. Fra l'altro, un modello che può essere una base per una ulteriore ancor più accurata riproduzione della corazzata Nave "Yamato" mediante apposito kit di fotoincisioni in metallo, se uno, oltre che un modellista, è in pratica anche un orafo, dotato oltremodo di pazienza e di accuratezza, oltre che degli strumenti necessari del caso, ma rischiando pure di farsi del male da soli, anche se naturalmente sto scherzando. Solo una piccola critica, le istruzioni per il montaggio dovrebbero essere, oltre che naturalmente in Giapponese, almeno anche in Inglese e le stesse, seppur buone, potrebbero essere più accurate e chiare in alcuni aspetti, come, ad esempio, nel corretto posizionamento di tutte le decalcomanie.

スナップフィットという部分よりも現時点での最新考証が盛り込まれていることに惹かれて購入。同社の旧キットも持っていますが、比べてみると細部の造形がかなり違っていて驚かされます。 当キットは基本的に接着剤不要となっておりますが、通常の接着剤と流し込みタイプの二つを用意しておくと便利です。と言うのもスケールモデルであるため細くて折れ易い部品が多く、私も旗竿を折ってしまい接着剤で継ぎ直すハメに。後部マストは取り付け時に折れそうな予感がしたため、ピンバイスで穴を拡げて固定には流し込みタイプの接着剤を使用しました。 今回塗装したのは砲身基部のキャンバス（つや消し白）、後部マスト（つや消し黒）、菊の御紋章とスクリュープロペラ（ゴールド）、そして船体へのスミ入れ（ガンダムマーカー流し込みタイプグレー）、木甲板へのスミ入れ（ガンダムマーカー流し込みタイプブラウン）で、これだけでも十分見られるレベルに仕上がりますが、つや消しトップコートを吹くと重量感が増します。甲板上のハッチ類やスクリューのシャフトは付属のシールを使用しましたが、意外と気になりませんでした。 簡単組み立てとありますが、部品が小さいので初心者の方は苦戦するかも知れません。が、気長に一つ一つ集中して組んで行けば、このスケールでは文句の付けようのない最高の大和が出来上がります。 個人的に感動したのが、主砲の砲口が開いていること、主砲身がそれぞれ独立して可動すること（表情の幅がぐんと広がります）、艦首フェアリーダー（繋留ロープを通す穴）がしっかり再現されていることですね。 他の人も書いておられますが、作業工程９番H3 H9の銃座に取り付ける機銃がシールド無しになってますが、これはシールド付きが正しいです。ご注意下さい。 スナップフィットは精度が命ですので、金型がヘタっていない今のうちの購入をお勧めします。このシリーズはぜひ続けて欲しいですね。
