How much does the cheese weight?

That's a good question. I don't have my cheese anymore, but I think it was more then a one pound chub because it was bigger then those one pound ground meat chubs. Going by its dimensions, I think it was a pound and a half. It measured about 5 inches across the cutting surface and was about 5 inches long. Very good creamy cheese!

Is this similar to Indian paneer?

Haven't eaten Indian paneer but it sounds similar. It is a mild soft creamy cheese, not as strong as havarti. It slices easily if not too warm. Great on sandwiches or crackers .

How many calories in an oz of this farmers cheese?

I'm sorry, but I have no idea. I couldn't possibly care less though. It's delicious
