Rollator review
This walker met all my expectations. It was easy to assemble. I’ve used it for almost a month now. It is very stable and maneuvers easily. It is lightweight and easy to fit in the back seat of my car. This is a good basic rollator for a very reasonable price.

Great Purchase
I have had several different types of Drive walkers. They are the best walkers you can buy and they have a very high quality and their customer service is excellent. I had a problem with one of my previous walkers and I emailed their customer service with pictures and they sent me a brand new one. I started out with the heavier Drive walker that converts to a wheelchair. It is wonderful because my boyfriend can push me in it when my leg gives out. It is very important to know that with that type of walker that you have to be pushed backwards over bumps. However, that one is quite heavy and difficult for me to lift in and out of the car when I am alone. It actually hurts my shoulders now if I have to do it. I needed a lightweight walker like this one when I am out and about alone. I did a lot of research and this is the lightest weight walker I could find. It is stable and perfect for me. The pouch underneath the seat is large enough to hide my purse and no one can tell it is even in there. It is very easy to lift, fold and put in and take out of the car. I read a few negative reviews and I was shocked. First of all, if I weighed over 250 pounds then I would not purchase ANY lightweight walker. That is just common sense that these are not going to be stable enough for you and that it will eventually break. When you take this walker out of the car, sometimes it starts to open a little, but it is so lightweight that this is NOT a problem at all. Actually this just makes it easier when taking it out if the car, because there are no buttons or levers you have to manipulate to try to open it. In cases like those type of walkers, you end up trying to balance and stabilize the walker on the ground in an upright position while trying to open it up before it falls over. So actually this makes this one so much easier for me, because many times it starts opening before you get it to the ground unless you hold it a certain way. It is really NOT a problem at all. I think people who make any negative comments about this walker have not ever used other brands, which are made of poor quality. This walker can be $150.00 at a DME store, but to be able to purchase this one on Amazon for such a reasonable price with free shipping makes this an awesome purchase. It is very important to know that this is not a walker that you can be pushed in, but when you are sitting down it is very easy to move around some when you use your foot to move yourself a short distance. This walker is so easy to put together and pretty much comes assembled, except for putting in the handles. I have put other walkers together that came in small boxes from the pharmacy and it is a struggle. You even have to put in the wheels on those, unlike this one. The price is outstanding, considering purchasing a low quality one at a local store of a different brand is double the price. I highly recommend this as long as you do not weigh over 250 pounds. If that is the case, then you should purchase one that is not designated as lightweight. I highly recommend this walker. I love it and it has made my life so much easier. Thank-you Drive for creating such an awesome reliable product.

Perfect for Mobility and Peace of Mind!
We purchased this for my mom shortly after she was discharged from the hospital. We wanted something reliable to help her regain her mobility, and this has been an absolute lifesaver. We recently took it to a local festival, and it performed beautifully. When the walking became too much for her, she was able to safely sit on the seat while we pushed her along. It’s incredibly sturdy, giving her the confidence she needs, yet it remains very easy to maneuver and move around.

Would purchase again
Easy to put together, lightweight enough to fold and carry to and from the car (even for this 82-year-old female), yet sturdy enough for good support of the patient, fits easily through doorways, the seat also serves to carry items room to room, price is reasonable. Would buy again.

Good Value
I got this walker to have an extra walker. This one is a good value for what I spent on it. The color is perfect, the size is great. The handling is smooth. Handles are a little squishy, which is good. :) Now for some minor cons, the branding is big on it, and the seat could be made out of better material, but overall I like it. Oh and it was easy to put together too.

Started with a bruised ego, but now I don't want to live without it.
My chronic illness has progressed to the point to where my PT suggested I get a rollator walker for my bad days. As I'm sure many others do, I found this difficult to accept and fully wrap my head around, but I knew she was right. I compared a lot of walkers and this was the only one that checked all of my boxes, but I just couldn't bring myself to hit "buy." The thing that finally gave me the courage to do it was seeing photo reviews from people who are young like me. So I promised myself I would come back and write a review to pay it forward to other young people who may be struggling emotionally with getting a walker. Every single time I've used it, I've said "oh my god, I love this thing so much." I have hypermobility and an autoimmune disorder, so on the days where I'm in a lot of pain, heavily fatigued, or generally unstable (or all of the above), this walker has been a lifesaver. Even on my "okay" days where I didn't feel like I needed it but brought it along just in case, I've thought to myself "wow, is this what walking is supposed to feel like?" because it just provides so much stability and I always have a seat no matter where I go. It has given me back so many things in my life that I've been in too much pain or too weak to do, like making dinner for my husband and I or going out with friends. If you have a chronic illness, even if you don't have a recommendation from a doctor or an official DX, get a rollator. Yes, I do struggle a little bit with impostor syndrome in certain places because I'm young, and because I only need it about 30% of the time right now, but I've actually had nothing but positivity from both friends and strangers so far. And honestly, even if people were looking at me sideways, I'd still be so over the moon about the fact that I can do lots of "normal" things again that it wouldn't make me regret getting the walker. Features I love the most: - 6" wheels (I thought 8" would look really big) - low profile and easier to fit through doors and walkways than many other rollators and walkers - lightweight. I can carry this even on one of my bad days. - easy to fold. I just pull up on the strap near the seat and it can go right in my compact SUV, my husband's sedan, or be tucked out of the way whenever I need to do that. - height is very adjustable and is accommodating of someone that's 5' tall - 14" wide seat with storage. Every other walker either had a 12" seat, which I felt would be very uncomfortable, or 18+", which was totally unnecessary for me and wouldn't be low-profile. - super sturdy. The build is high quality and the brakes are strong and easy to operate. I've used this walker while actively subluxated and it's kept me standing. The only thing I had trouble with is the brake cables. Because I'm so short and this walker is designed to be adjustable to a wide range of heights, putting it on the lowest setting makes the brake cables stick out really far and they kept catching on walls or knocking things over. So I just put some Velcro loops around them and tied the slack down to the sides of the walker. Problem solved. All that to say: if you're hesitating, just do it. And if you're still feeling bummed about it, put a bunch of silly stickers on your walker like I did.

Go 4 it!
i just love this Drive Rollator! Mom needs to use one - but what makes this DRIVE model unique is 1) the back brace folds up - which makes is so much easier [and possible] to put it into the car: Mom's other rollator has a firm - non movable back support - which means that in the Ford Escape, the device takes up the entire trunk area and one fold-down seat. 2) The DRIVE Rollator weighs about 12-13lbs. WOW ~ the other models i've used weigh much much more, and they are so very difficult to fold, to lift up to the height of a trunk, and then use a 'scooping motion' to put it into the car's trunk; the back seat would hold the upper handled part - again, because of the non-movable back support, this is the only way to get it into the car. i'd buy the DRIVE Medical Rollator AGAIN - for the 1) weight - it lifts with one hand!, 2) it is so very easy to fit it into the space allotted by a typical trunk, and 3) it comes with a carry caddy [Mom loves it] - and you don't have to remove it to put the Rollator in the car. The thin connecting rod from left leg to right leg has a strap, and you just tug on it, and the Rollator folds into itself, Raise the back support brace, and it all lies pretty flat in the trunk. All i do is ensure the cable [breaking cable from the hand grip to the legs/back wheels] remains out of the way of the closing of the trunk. The Rollator comes completely assembled. It is VERY easy to adjust it for height. i've seen men using the same model in medical facilities, and they appreciate it for the same reason: easy to lift, easy to fit into the trunk, and the caddy/pouch gives them a place to put their medical files, e.g. Can't go wrong ~ we chose blue, but other colors are available, too. Very well-made device. Mom likes the comfort of the padded seat - the other [RX'd after my neck surgery - didn't have as soft of a seat. It also had a basket (things always were falling out), not a completely enclosed caddy - nothing falls of the DRIVE's pouch :) ~ and there's a separate zippered- area [inside, under the top of the lid] to conceal whatever you may wish. Mom likes to always have certain things with her all the times, and this really fits the bill. The 6" size wheels make it very easy to push - and Mom's had no problem using it indoors nor outdoors [to/from doctor appointments]. It's been through snow, rain, mud, etc. i just wipe it down with Armor All wipes, which i have on hand for general car cleaning. Only the back brakes lock - but that's the case for almost ALL of the Rollators, Anyone who plans to use theirs often, please consider this for the weight [12-13lbs,] , the security of having the back brace support if needed, the ability to raise the back support to make it easier to get into the car, and the really handy pouch, and the padded seat. Amazon's price is VERY comnmendable - i've seen it sold elsewhere - the exact same Drive model - for at least twice the price. Want to know how easy it is to push? Mom had her rotator cuff so severely damaged during a fall, that she needs a complete shoulder replacement. She feels very secure with the Drive Rollator. Thanks for asking ~ and best of luck to you!

Light strong and easy to lift
The item came very well packaged and enclosed in plastic wrap. Very easy to put together without tools. All that was needed was to remove the finger tightened bolt on each side to slide the right and left handles into the proper sides and insert the handles down to the desired adjustment hole. I am 6'6" tall so the top adjustment was just right for me. This rollator is very light and easy to maneuver. The only other part that needed installing was the back rest bar and it just pops into place and is held by the two pop up buttons. I didn't really care about the color but do like the blue. I had another unit before this one that was bigger but it was so wide it wouldn't go through the bedroom door at my friends mobile home. Also I worried that if I flew again it was too big to fit in the storage compartment on the plane. My first one was the size of this new one and it barely fit. Both my first two Rollators broke at the weld on the left side where the rear crossbar joins the leg But at least the first one lasted 2 years the big one lasted 9 months. I do like the 8" wheels on the big one better as they go over thresholds and such easier and are quieter on hard floors and concrete. But it's also 6 pounds heavier and harder to stow in the back of my raised Chevy Tahoe. This new one is very easy to lift.

Amazing Walker
I bought this for my 94 year old dad, who suffered a broken hip this past year. We were looking for a walker that provided stability but was also light weight (so my 91 year old mom could pack it in and out of their car). THIS WALKER IS AMAZING!! The weight is minimal - my dad can maneuver it wherever he wants to go, and my mom can still lift it in and out of the trunk of the car. Yet, the stability is 100%. Including the seat my dad can sit on for a break, if he needs one. And there is the bin under the walker if they go shopping. I cannot say enough about this walker, it has transformed my parent's needs, in the 90th years of their lives!
