MEGATEK Region-Free DVD Player for TV with HDMI & 1080P Upscaling

I like it when you’ve stopped watching a movie and went back to continue watching the movie resumes playing without having to pressing the play button. And the picture is as good as a high end player. Best bang for your buck. This player hasn’t failed me and as extremely easy to use and the remote control works perfectly fine and it plays every DVD flawlessly.

What a pleasure to use. Easy to plug the HDMI into my smart TV and plug the power cord into the wall outlet. The remote is very easy to use and intuitive. 100 times better than my old unit that had to hook up to the amp. and sometimes couldn't decode the audio on newer DVD's. Excellent, nothing else to say!

We just reached the year mark for using the Megatek Region Free DVD. For the past year it worked flawlessly. It was easy to set up and the player played DVDs from locations that we could not play in the past. Unfortunately last week the picture went black. Initially I thought it was a HDMI cable issue and I tried another cable but the picture was still black. I then plugged in the composite cables and the picture came back. The quality is not the same as the HDMI. To be fair my mother used this machine for the past year almost everyday and probably 5-6 hours a day. Therefore. I cannot complain about the amount of usage we got for the price we paid. I would recommend this unit and I only gave it a 4 because of the failure of the HDMI plug.

I purchased this DVD player since streaming services and cable prices continue to soar. I am buying DVDs again and this is an easy to set up and compact size for my bedroom dresser. It’s sleek and reliable without making crazy noise like some older players did. Highly recommend this product.

If you're looking for a motor region DVD player, this is the one the price was good. And I do recommend it. You can see our region movies. It's very good, the pictures quality good and everything. This is a great player. It was so easy to set up, and to use.. we are in our 70s so if we can do it you can too. It took 5 mind to get it running. I highly recommend it.

Good CD player! ...but it quit after about a year, so I bought another and then managed to fix the first one (replaced a bad capacitor). Now I have two good CD players: on in the living room and one in my office!

Using this as an entry level CD Transport with an affordable DAC from Aiyima and it scratches the itch for higher audio quality without going down a deep audiophile rabbit hole (as I'm not an expert) The common complaints like lack of gapless playback, lack of weight of the player, and terrible built in DAC does not affect my personal needs. It satisfies my actual needs: digital out, on-device buttons for basic playback controls without the remote, autoplays CDs, and an on-screen display for use without a TV; it hits on the nostalgia for me. I hope it lasts long.

Funciona perfeitamente, até o momento já testei para as regiões 1, 4 e All. Faz o upscalling para até 1080p, passando por 480p e 720p. Também pode copiar o DVD para um pen drive como funcionalidade adicional. Até o momento, valendo muito a pena para assistir a DVDs antigos difíceis de achar em streaming.

It only worked for few DVD’s and then the door stuck and does not open. It’s a waste of money.
