This thing is the best $40 I ever spent on my rifle, a Tikka T3X. Every sporter or monte carlo style stock should have one of these mounted. It improved my 100 yd group size instantly by 10-15%, because it helps give you a consistent sight picture by placing your cheek at the same elevation every single time. it's easy to install and well made. I especially like the large threaded knobs for adjustment. Apparently they make screws that don't have the large knobs, but you need an allen wrench to adjust those, which is just one more thing to lose in the field IMO. I definitely prefer the knobs. I noticed other offshore brands were cheaper, but I'm happy to pay a few extra bucks for American and Veteran made products. After I tried my first one at the range, I bought two more, one for my other Tikka and one for my brother's Tikka.

Product is as advertised and agree with other reviewers for ease of install; holds well and have not had issues. May add a thin neoprene pad for comfort, but has been working great without.Worth noting, even though the cheek rest allows for bolt cycling. I have it installed on a rifle with Rem 700 bolt- .308/ HS Precision stock-standard. Since you must lower the rest to its full seated position to remove the bolt for cleaning, I simply scratched hash marks at preferred position and visually place back into position after cleaning. Because of this however and with the occasional need to field clean, I'm happy I went with this specific product due to the larger nut wheels. Overall... pleased with the product.

I bought two kydex cheek risers for two rifles, a Savage MKII and a Tikka 3 CTRX, and it works really well. Before I had tape and foam on the stocks to get the proper head height behind the scopes, now I have this and it works much better. The install wasn't too bad, just watch the directions on the website (a link was given with the product) and take your time! Measure 3 times, drill once! I used painters tape on the stock and then taped the cheek riser to the stock. Holding the drill level just so, was the toughest part. I also started with a really small bit, to make sure everything was lined up properly, before drilling the proper sized hole. I actually think that is key, that way if you are off slightly, you can still line up the holes. Anyway, great product, will buy again.

There is not that much to like or dislike. It is a form fitting piece of Kydex that works in the way intended. I like it fine.

Yhis cheek rest meet all my expectations and installation was a breeze. The fit was perfect on my HS precision stock and the installation took only 10 min following the instructional video from seller. Hardware is top knotch and the bolts have enough length to trim down for perfect a fit. Once installed, the rest was rock solid and looks to to be ready for a long service life. I'll definitely be getting a few more rifles set up with one real soon. 10 ot of 10.

At first I thought it a wee bit pricey for a piece of plastic and 2 1/4" bolts with knobs. I recently put a Vortex Diamondback 4-16x44 FFP on my .223 Ruger M77 Hawkeye and had to use #4 and 5 Ruger rings that put it a little higher than I wanted. Never been a big fan of velcro cheek risers so I thought I try this one. Easy to put on and great adjustment and stays put and looks good. It's not a big issue but I have to lower it down to the stock to remove the bolt. For the price and the next to nothing weight it seems like it could be put in a large envelope and lick a couple stamps and not ding the "customer" for a "shipping charge" , still this is great product.
