Yes, for beats they lasted longer than getting Apple to replace the pads

I’m not sure which solos i have, but i’ve had my beats for a good few years; will these fit them?

Mine are also old (they are a "hand-me-down" from my daughter after she got newer ones) and I don't know what model they are, but in my case these fitted perfectly. Can't be sure of course but I think there's a very good chance that they will fit your ones. Incidentally, have you looked at the Bluetooth settings on your computer to see if that identifies the model of your headphones?

Ate these pads round or oval?

Depth is 71/2cm, width is 7cm so they would be classed as oval . Great fit though.
