XP100 Intense Radiance Permanent Hair Colour - 5.00 Light Intense Brown 100ml

I’ve happily been using this colour for a number of years on my roots every 4-6 weeks. It effectively covers all my grey roots and gives my hair salon quality finish for a fraction of the price. The dye does have a slight red tinge to it but I don’t mind this. You must mix the product with equal amounts of developer, which is easy to do - I use number 5.0 dye with a 20 vol (6%) developer, and this gives my roots a dark brown and shiny finish.

After switching from a big branded Box Dye that changed it's formula and was dreadful...... I was recommended this by my hairdresser. I use a ratio of 10ml dye to 20ml peroxide. It mixes well and does not drip. I leave it on for 30 mins and it is brilliant at covering greys on mid brown hair. Really pleased and cheaper than buying box dyes all the time.

I tried this item for first item , it is good and worked very fast , but I would prefer no ammonia one , the smell irritated my skin . And no direction and developer inside the box .

Love these hair colours

I’ve used this a few times now so I thought it was only fair I gave it a review, because it’s amazing! I use it with a 6% toner, about 75ml of toner to 50ml of dye and it gives me great coverage (brown hair with dreaded greys!) - easy to apply as it’s a cream formula, I leave it on for about 35mins and it washes out really well … I love how it washes out almost clear (box dyes used to be so dark for ages when washing out) and my favourite bit, it hardly leaves any colour on my scalp! I had to use a nail brush to scrub my scalp after most other dyes, but this one I never do … leaves my hair in a soft shiny condition, best one i’ve ever used (and i’ve used a lot!)
