Lost Eye: Coping with Monocular Vision after Enucleation or Eye Loss from Cancer, Accident, or Disease

"Coping"~ all we can do is our best.
Held back one star because NO ONE likes losing their EYE. Especially to an amoeba, like Pac Man with a big Mac. A 1 in 10,000chance. Nothing more to say, getting upset with the World Class doctors who did not notice that I am an entire HUMAN BEING<not one big eyeball. My PTSD is more form them than loss of vision. My prosthesis was well done and thank you Affordable Healthcare Act or I'd spend my life with a pirates patch

Have not read!
The print was too small to read.

So, So
The Book probably is good for those that have had or will have an eye removed. Not for people that just have to deal with substantially reduced vison in one eye.

A Positive Point of View
As a person who has lost an eye to glaucoma, I'm glad to know there are books like this in print. We are members of a unique club, with a different world view. Much more than the sum of our parts. This author makes that point quite well. For the record, I do wear a black eye patch every now and then...just because I am well qualified to do so.

Excellent, must-have book!
This book is extremely helpful for people who have monocular issues, whether that happens to be due to an enucleation or through the loss of vision in one eye. Jay's website is a go-to for all monocular people and their loved ones, packed with information and support.
